how did saying cowboys fans live in the past have anything to do with predicting the future?

the fact is cowboys fans love to mention their superbowl wins, but they have been a mediocre team the last 18 years..

Maclin: 25 catches for 429 yards and 4 TD's
Jackson: 20 catches for 364 yards and 2 TD's

And Maclin has been wide wide open for a few deep balls that Nick has completely missed.

You are absolutely idiotic if you think our offense has taken a step back because of DeSean's departure. Our offensive struggles can mostly be attributed to 3 of 5 linemen missing for the better part of the season. Rendering our run game useless and putting tons of pressure on Foles, something he's struggled with at this point.

Despite all this, we are still tied with your world beater Cowboys at 4-1. Let's see where both teams are at the end of the season.

And oh yeah...

Problem is anyone outside of Dallas picked the Cowboys due to their SB wins so that argument is pretty much null and void

Thanks for the maclin vs Jackson stats.

That'a really helped the Eagles offense match last years numbers.

That special teams only gon carry Philly but so far. Eventually the offense gotta score again.

All I'm sAyin

No ****. What you implied though was that we aren't scoring because Jackson isn't here. I addressed why that isn't the case in my other post. It's not like receivers aren't getting open, Foles just hasn't had the time/has missed tons of easy throws.

This week against the Giants will be a big test who look pretty impressive so far.

"Of Maclin’s 57 targets, only 25 were catchable, per Pro Football Focus. Maclin caught all 25. He has no drops this year."

That basically says it all :smh: :x

I'm curious to see how long Foles is the starter. (This isn't talking trash, I'm serious)

I'm not impressed with Dallas. Defense is holding up against poor offenses.

Tough to say; I think he has the season personally because once you pull him for Sanchez that's a wrap for him as an Eagle

I think he most likely finishes unless he gets hurt BUT I'm thinking along the lines if they miss the playoffs or lose in the first game. Do they keep him or start looking for a QB? I don't think he's a franchise QB.

If he doesn't win a playoff I think he's done in Philly

I still have hopes for him but if he doesn't show up on Sunday then the bye week sure will be interesting

Foles is missing passes we've all seen him make before. So we know it's in him.

Just been off the past few weeks. Oline ain't helping. Lack of running ain't helping.

Conversely, no one expected him to keep up last years pace.

As far as dallas defense not playing anyone, I'll give u that. Tho the Saints are one of,if not the most prolific offense the last decade.

4-1 is 4-1 THO no matter how u cut it. Can't sell that short.

I'm glad these division games starting. Eager to see if we can improve on last years division record

The Saints aren't that offense anymore. They're a different team.

4-1 is still 4-1.

I don't think Foles is a franchise QB. I think last year was a fluke. Missing a lot of throws and I don't think Chip likes him as his QB. He also has a high amount of TOs.

I don't think Foles is a fluke but I do think he is suffering some serious lack of confidence right now

the throws he is missing are passes he made with ease last year; he has missed Maclin on at least 4-5 home runs balls already

If he doesn't pan out this year though, I would not be surprised if Chip went all in for MM and gave up an RG3 type package which scares me

U right bout New Orleans. No argument here.

As for Nicholas, 2 interceptions was a fluke. That's just an impossible rate to keep up. I'm not ready to say he was yet tho.

Cats were calling romo nd Eli done after sd starts to the season. They both responded with multiple very good games.

It's a long season, so I'll give foles time to bust out this slump before I write him off.

Critical stretch for the Eagles. Hosting G-Men, bye week, at Arizona and Houston (not easy games defensively), hosting Panthers, at Lambeau. Challenging stretch. Foles and secondary must play better.

1. Eagles
2. 'Skins
3. Cowboys
4. Giants

Although I think the Eagles are a step ahead of every team, if I put my fandom aside and view it from the eyes of a neutral fan the ********, Eagles, or Giants can realistically take the division. I do think the Cowboys are clearly a step behind everyone though.

Cowboys are gonna be very bad this year IMO

I keep hearing this, but what in the hell makes anyone think the Cowboys defense is going to be better this season? They literally have a bunch of no names on the front 7, which I think is the worst in the NFL. You guys are just banking on this magical force that will make your defense better because it sucked last year? Romo will carry you guys to wins like always which is why I don't think you will be too bad, but your defense is again going to lose you a bunch of games. Lack of depth is a huge concern too, if your team suffers one more major injury to an impact player offensively or defensively your team is ******. Just my opinion though. I say you guys finish around 7-9.

@JimmyKempski: LeSean McCoy walking over to do interview with Michael Irvin, turned back to some fans and said, "I own Dallas."

I really think the Cowboys, ********, and Giants may all suck this year. In fact, I expect it.

We all know the cowboys will suck this year, again.

LOL.

To be fair, my expectations for the Cowboys weren't that high coming into this season.
