that tlc movie was horrible.. ish was mc hammer story status... all these yrs and they still havent greenlight the jimi hendrix movie... not knocking james brown, but they been talking about hendrix for well over a decade, hell its looking like there will be a mike jack movie before hendrix sees the light... and what hapen to mike epps and the sammy davis jr movie?
 
So they snubbed Ryan Reynolds or Jake Gyllenhaal?

But on the real, Hollywood is hurting for younger black actors and it's a shame. I thought Mack Wilds or some of the other cats from the Wire would be able to get more roles, guess not

he actually is a great actor, its just as of late the whole wayans bros, boondocks, friday etc... he has been typecast, kinda like how marlon wayans is the only skilled trained actor and non comedian of the family yet because of the rest of the fam isnt even respected or seen as a skilled trained actor.

but how many movies that are pretty much black that arent madea, or older adult/dating marriage type movies.... you make the same type of movies year end and year out...you are typically going to get the same, or same type of actors year end year out.

Thats why i respect tyler perry, some people might say hes making blacks look bad blah blah but hes doing it without the help of hollywood & giving unknown black actors a chance

For the Pryor movie, his son is threatening to sue

Nina Simone- Mainly black women are pissed Zoe Saldana is playing her

No idea what's holding up the Marvin Gaye movie

then make a lena horne.....whats kinda funny and sad after this i mean past/older generations going forward to current generations of blacks ... making biopics on blacks would be pretty much outright ****ish.... I mean can you imaging the biopic of lil wayne.... master p, nicki minaj or lil kim..... nene leakes...lol katt williams...

oh yea cause drake>mlk lol ...... yea maya angelou=superhead..... oprah winfrey=nicki minaj....  The life story of rich homie quan will be right up there with sammy davis jr.... I can see it now the life and times of waka flocka flame..... itll be oscar worthy... right up there with ray..lol... 

Yea it will be epic.... the autobiography of the migos.....lol soujah boy lol yea i can see it now..... it will be a great compelling story about the hardships the up and downs and the struggles of a kid who made it big making music on a laptop and posting it on youtube...
