Stay Get Back In Shape Vol 3.0 Meal Prep Thread

Anyone following a pescatarian diet lifestyle? Started my journey about 3 weeks ago & looking for some ideas with fish. I've also been researching how much fish one can eat without having mercury levels getting high. So far, I'm gonna stick with 2 cans of tuna a week--tops. From my understanding I can eat wild sockeye salmon 3-4 days a week. Anyone educated on the subject?

Not versed but I buy Tuna in water every Trader Joes trip, quick lunch for my lazy days to cook. Just was browsing for another video found this for you Tuna guys.

For quick breakfast's this is what I do. No stove need. I can't find the original body building video I learned this from but this gives a good idea. I sometimes cook sausage, bacon, or throw deli meat in the mix. Add some broccoli or kale + onions, light seasoning. I love cheese (who doesn't) but I try to eat cheese as a treat so some days i'll top a slice on top, so good with the cheese.

Mix this in your tupper wear throw it in the microwave. Top is with sriracha it you would like. I should of took a pic of the one I ate just now but I bodied it lol. My next work day I got you.

Copied from the Food thread:

Need some help bros.

Im terrible at cooking, I dont even know the basics, cept breakfast but that doesnt count.

Anyways, im on a cut (<2000 cals/day) and basically have been on a chicken diet. Recently bought some cooked/frozen chicken strips and usually I just microwave then stick it in a pan of olive oil to give it a little crunch, then use some condiments to give it some flavor. Bought some teriyaki marinade today, marinated it for about 2 hours, microwaved it then stuck it on a pan again. Tasted pretty good actually.

Basically, any other marinades that taste good with chicken? Im not starting off with raw chicken if that makes a difference. Was fairly surprised how good this tasted.

Also, whats the correct way to cook sunnyside up eggs? How do you know when the yolk is "done" yet still runny?

Personally I don't throw chicken in the microwave to thaw it out. I run hot water on the page then leave it out to thaw season then cook it later.

I usually cop this from TJ and cook it all at once on a flat skillet:

For seasoning I have experimented with a few different Marinades from TJ but I'm basic now and satisfied with just jerk seasoning, black pepper and cayenne pepper. I like my food spicy clearly. If I don't do jerk (pause) you can do some home made marinades with like sriracha, water and honey. Check out the Rehabilitated page from the 1st post on this thread, he has a few good things on his page. I am still going through FitMenCook, they have A LOT of dope stuff on there.

I wasn't much of a cooker myself also but with time yo will get better around the kitchen and start experimenting with different flavors and combos of seasoning.

Just a random Google search just now for marinades, you can trying out something from this page for sure: http://parade.condenast.com/51806/lorilange/10-easy-marinated-grilled-chicken-recipes/

Buy in bulk. Costo has boneless chicken thighs for $2.10 a lb and ground beef for around 3 bucks a pound. You can cop 20 bucks worth of each and have around 13-15 pounds of meat. Divide and seperate. Cook for the next day the night before or meal prep all at once on Sunday. Get that opti grill!

This is always my biggest issue. I can train consistently, but the diet smh. I find myself looking for the 'healthiest' thing in the office canteen, but I know I'm only fooling myself. I always know how to cook nice meals to eat at home, but meal preps are my downfall. I need to make healthy food that tastes as good when I make it, 5 hours or a day or two later....

Will read this thread closely.

Trying to get lean and drop extra fat.

I just use liquid egg whites, added onion light amount of cheese (sometimes I do broccoli) cayenne pepper black pepper and some sriracha. Cooked some sausages cut them up put it in the microwave for like a minute. There u have it, breakfast

Washed down with yogi green tea, straight. Nothing added. It's weird his my taste buds changed how I'm not dependent on sugar
