GREY MARKET DISCUSSION THREAD VOL. 2!!! (LET'S KEEP THE DISCUSSION MATURE) RULES ON PG 1 PLEASE READ

squatchnt squatchnt The listing in that eBay listing I was talking about was a legit size 16. The reason for the question was to determine if the shoe in the listing "could have been GM". If 16's don't come in GM(and they don't) then that shoe HAD HAD HAD to be legit and could be used as a comparison to authenticate my size 12.

I had just purchased a size 12 for myself and was having a hard time authenticating it, and it had the same "GM" tells that the size 16 that was legit had, therefore meaning mine was quite possibly legit in spite of the many posts here claiming otherwise.

Crazy thing to me was how hard it was to authenticate my size 12 on NT, not only in this thread, but in a legit check thread I did. With so so so many people claiming to be experts, not many were willing to put their name and knowledge on the line to call mine either or.

In the LC thread probably 90% of the initial posters said they leaned toward them being GM. (However, on e I stepped up and claimed them as authentic and showed proof of why, many more came forward and cosigned the shoe being authentic.

But, when I was first told they were GM, Based on that information I dug deeper with the seller (almost accusing them of selling me reps based on misinformation from here). Not only did I have to end up apologizing to the seller for accusing them of malpractice but it was quite the embarrassment to come at someone and insinuate they were less than honest based on information I was given.
Long story short, after about a week of comparing mine to others from size 8-17 I came to find out that all the tells of being GM that my Sz 12 Tuxedo had, all the sizes from 8-17 also had.

It became clear to me that their were several factors on ALL TUXEDOS that hit the retail market that today would be considered GM traits.

I tell you this though, one thing I can do now is AUTHENTICATE a Tuxedo low.

****edit: Now the listing you posted, that joint was HILARIOUSLY bad. Damn dude

The point of me digging that post up was because when you asked I had never 'knowingly' seen a fake larger than a 15. I mean NONE bad, good or in between...

Yeah man, those were horrible and still sold. Nothing other than the color was right about them and somebody still wanted them.

That sz 16 life has to be brutal though.
You have no competition when they do release your size on RD BUT, how often do they release over 14/15's on RD

It has it's ups and downs, but there's plenty of competition these days. Sometimes a shoe wont release in my size on release date but then pop up on a random restock (88 retro III, Black and Royal I). For the longest time I could wait on a price drop or at least until coupon restrictions were removed to cop under retail, no more though.

The last line in the article though is too true, but also a big waste if time and tax dollars, such a catch 22.

Mow a weed three grow back.
Pick a grey hair two grow back.
Take down a counterfeit ring.........it just seems like a waste of my tax dollars(but I understand you don't stop fighting just because you will lose, fight till the death I suppose)
the shoes pictured look nothing like GM though.

I honestly A. Don't care what people buy B. Can't tell whats real or fake anymore. (super early releases I assume are fake)

A LOT of dudes still getting got even with all these videos, websites, and people pointing out every difference

people dont wanna accept things once they spend their hard earned money or they just wanna show off since Jordans/Kicks are the new thing to have these days. to the youngsters, if the kicks got a jumpman you are cool  thats how it is, srsly

im a convinced there is a store in CT/boutique that only sells GM, i tried to explain it to this younger dude he gets all salty with me

^^^Thats crazy

yup posted actual pics 2 days ago in the AJ1 thread :x

those actually have the gold midsole stitching, the pair i posted had white but seller said they will come with gold stitching. sad thing is those are pretty damn close and dudes will fall for em especially those thirsty for em so streets gonna be flooded with these :smh:

^They have GM Raging Bulls?

doubt it, looking at the IG its a shop and probably has some legit and some Fake/GM pairs. not shocking nor surprising, build up a fan base and the trust of people in the community then you can bring in china fakes and claim you got them from a connect since you "sell" authentic shoes.

happens all the time, sad that people are so damn gullible

Those PL 1s look pretty damn good.. The NIKE on the tongue looks perfect, and the shape looks pretty good too. It's funny that it took so long for them to make gms of those
