Oregon Ducks over UCLA -- 6 straight and counting...

Kenny Hill is a ******* clown. Reggie Ball reincarnated. Someone let me know when he throws an accurate pass more than 5 yards down the field. People giving this dude a nickname after 1 game...

Sumlin looks like a great coach right now too.
WAY overboard much?

1. Miss St.
2. Ole Miss
3. FSU
4. ND
ND Top 4 ...

how is ND not top 4?

Serious question to everyone in the thread, but especially @Bigmike23.

Has Hundley's pro stock dropped at all from where it was at the end of last year? If they keep losing is there any risk of it falling?

Did he get a first round grade last year?
his stock has to be dropping right now, you see a lot more of the bad then the good from him . he still has a ton of talent but a team cant spend a early 1st round pick on him right now.

I'd probably put Baylor at 4 and ND at 5

It's still way too early to even care about stuff like that though

I'm shocked ND hasn't played a single road game yet in their first 6 games. Good luck with FSU as your first road test lol... both FSU and ND should lose once or twice anyway

 If Sumlin doesn't fire that entire defensive staff at the end of this year...

There ain't one good coach over there, I don't think... Not one defensive unit has gotten better in the last three years.

And Kenny Hill does kinda suck.
Jameis Winston's best legal move may be to drop out of Florida State
http://www.si.com/college-football/2014/10/11/jameis-winston-florida-state-disciplinary-hearing
Typically at Florida State, code of conduct hearings occur after a student has been charged and a committee of students, faculty and staff serves as judges. Florida State has proposed this alternative arrangement in light of the university’s own involvement in the scandal.

Damn, FSU going to try to wash their hands of this whole situation. Winston is sort of screwed if he stays and goes through the hearing or leaves and misses out on the rest of the season. What kind of bizarro **** is this? FSU just making stuff up as they go, Winston never met with a committee of students and faculty right?

The whole code of conduct thing is bizarre to me though.. like, what rules could he have broken relating to sexual conduct with another student that haven't already been investigated by the proper authorities?

I think it was actually smart for FSU admin to go to a 3rd party to conduct the COC hearing. If they were to do it themselves and he was not found guilty of violating anything the university would be even further crucified. Either way I don't think anything happens to Jameis quite honestly.

It's smart on their part to try to cover up this entire thing if they in fact botched the initial handling of the case to begin with. It's clear they are going to try to pin something on Winston because the accuser is going to eventually sue the university.

The whole thing is a cluster**** and a joke. Obviously they needed to go with a 3rd party at this point, they shouldn't get any credit for that haha

Definitely agree, I can't wait for this to just end.

Edit: Don't agree that they are trying to "pin" something on Jameis I just feel like they are trying to save face by even conducting the COC hearing. This should have taken place months ago but the outcome will be the same.

To be honest from a FSU perspective it seems like people are just trying to find teams to tout over us. Bama, OU, and Oregon were all supposedly better than FSU they each have lost and came close to losing at least one more game this season. The Miss schools have created their hype by beating up on ATM and LSU who are frauds, a Bama team that is overrated and Auburn who has their best QB sitting on the bench. The SEC West has parity not a bunch of great teams, I think if FSU goes undefeated their wins will stack up with anybody int the nation. (Ok State, Clemson, and ND)
Come on, man. FSU sits comfortably at #3, but their current resume doesn't touch Mississippi State's three signature victories or Ole Miss' two big wins plus with Auburn down the road in November.

Homers gonna homer.
I mean, ideally FSU fans have little to worry about if business is taken care of. Beat ND, Ole Miss and Mississippi State play each other November 29th anyway. Baylor still has OU, OK State, Tech, and K-State to end the season. Just win out, Seminoles. You'll be fine in the playoff picture.

It's taking ever fiber of my being not to troll @Th3RealF0lkBlu3s
right now.

You aight breh? For real.

I'm okay. I didn't get to watch any CFB yesterday due to a good friend's wedding in Wine Country out in Northern California, but I was able to keep up with UCLA's dismantling. And apparently the mental breakdown of our DC.

From what I've been reading, what happened was that Mora overruled a play call by Ulbrich that allowed to a Duck TD. At which point Ulbrich became livid with Mora and gave him the playsheet and headset and told him to do it himself. If this is the case, then two things should happen/needed to have happened:

1. Mora needs to admit that this indeed occurred with the team, as it's an especially ugly thing to watch two coaches feud like that in front of the players who depend on you to work together to keep them safe and competitive on the field. It's inexcusable to not address the situation and be forthright about the breakdown in communication and how it will be addressed in the future.

2. Ulbrich has to go. You cannot show up your head coach like that and give up the playcalling duties like that and come back without losing serious respect and trust. UCLA fans had their concerns about Ulbrich up to yesterday, and now it seems those concerns were justified. A DC with experience would be the best route to follow, if only because you want your defense to be the foundation of the team and to be led by someone with either brilliant scheming or dependable experience. Obviously both would be ideal but how often is a candidate like that available (where are you, Clancy Pendergast)?

All in all, a two loss season is probably the cusp of where many people (outside of the media of course) saw UCLA falling into. Brett Hundley has regressed, the OL is thin with depth and there aren't the skill players on offense needed to make great plays and keep drives alive on a consistent basis. I'm hoping for another 10 win season at this point and a strong finish, but the Pac-12 is so unpredictable that it wouldn't surprise me to see this team suffer 4-5 losses by the end.

I just don't see how FSU isn't the #1 team in the nation.

I understand y'all want change and wanna see some things shaken up.

But they are a machine.

You have to compare respective resumes. Are Clemson and OK State more impressive than at LSU, Auburn, and A&M? If both Ole Miss and Mississippi State run the table, November 29th will be a showdown of undefeated teams thus enhancing the winner's resume even more in relation to the playoff picture.

Really? They've looked really shaky, tempting fate every week. I don't see how that isn't clear as day

MSU has just ran through some of the best teams in the country 3 weeks in a row, they certainly have a stake to the #1 ranking

Y'all just spend pages saying A&M is trash tho

End of the day it doesn't really matter, You don't lose then you're in (for all the power conference teams & ND)

Who's yall though. Just a lot of overreactions more than anything. A&M is still a pretty damn good team and the resumes don't even compare to this point.. so let's not go down that route
