I mean, to be fair, Nike hasn't exactly been hooking up all its schools evenly.

Just their current big 4: Oregon, FSU, Ohio State, and Bama

I think the Nike bigs are

Oregon
Oregon State
Ohio State
FSU
Florida
Miami
USC
Bama
LSU
TCU
Texas
Oklahoma
VT

with Oregon of coarse being light years ahead of everybody else

Yeah I was about to say, Nike has always hooked us up pretty nicely.

And if Michigan was with Nike they would be up there as one of their top schools. Football and basketball.

So Kenny Hill hired Sean Salisbury as a personal QB coach and mentor.

Pretty interesting choice of mentor for a kid who has had quite a few off-the-field issues.
why the hell would he do this

is it normal for a college kid, especially a freshman to hire a qb coach

should let the A&M staff do their job

Hiring a QB coach is becoming a new thing all the college QBs are doing.

I wish Watson was back, hopefully he will be playing next week.

its hilarious that we have to have somebody keep Venables off the field every play.

USC redshirt junior QB Cody Kessler told a local radio station he has already begun recruiting fellow draft-eligible non-seniors to return in 2015.

"My goal right now is to make sure everybody comes back next year," Kessler said. "That’s where my mind is at right now. I want to make sure everybody comes back so we can be successful." Rotoworld's Josh Norris ranks Kessler as a top six quarterback, but it does not appear that the Trojan is considering leaving for the NFL. He displays sound pocket movement and a willingness to work through reads, albeit without a fantastic, eye catching arm.
Sounds like Cody's definiely returning. Absolutely zero reason Leonard should come back. I'd love to see him at USC but his draft stock will never be any higher. If I'm him I go.

Nelson is weird. He's not as good as Robert or Marqise were in college, and still has tons of things to get better at — some awful drops, mental lapses where he steps out of bounds or runs backwards and loses yardage, and he's scared of contact. But at the same time, he's prob one of the first 5 wide receivers taken which amounts to what, a 2nd or 3rd round selection? I don't know if that's worth leaving early, especially considering Woods and Lee left early and have both been struggling mightily in the NFL, but then again how much higher would his stock really climb if he stayed?

Buck and all the other dudes need to come back. They're not going top 3-4 rounds off performance this season so unless they can wow in the combine I don't see the incentive to go.

BTW, still weird to see USC QBs in that Oregon offense.

I don't think Buck will be back. Wouldn't be surprised if Agholor left. Surprisingly, heard rumblings that Farmer wants to go as well, would be the UDFA route almost certainly though.

What if I told you it's not Oregon's offense...

What makes Chip Kelly great is that he evolves, unlike many coaches that get stuck in their ways.

Cody Kessler coming back, not sure if that is good news... Sorry, not a fan of his.

Williams is gone, and you can always count on two or three guys leaving that everyone knows shouldn't have any business leaving,. Hey, hows the practice squad Dion Bailey?

^Dion graduated though. He left because he put in his time academically and wanted to get his career going. No reason he should have to stay in college LONGER than the average person. There was also the belief that the Seahawks would take him late...

I completely believe Nelson will go pro but I'm not sure if it's a smart idea or not. Famar is big and ridiculously fast. His only point of concern is durability. He could go top 4 rounds off measurables alone, but I don't know that any team would take a chance on a guy who's hurt all the time.

And @ooIRON MANoo What do you have against Kessler?  25 TDs 2 INTs in his first full year as a starter ain't bad... You'd rather see Max B? Darnold? Town?

(Or Jalen Greene who might secretly be the most "dynamic" QB on the roster?)

Third place in the NT Pick 'Em. Wide gap, 12 points behind. Disappointed in myself for forgetting to make 18 of 20 selections first week. Could prove to be the ultimate difference-maker down the stretch.

Dion is a very smart guy, he was not going to get picked in the NFL Draft, he is going to have a nice career in whatever field he decides to get into in the future. An UDFA spot and a practice squad spot would've been available for him to chase his dream after the 2014 season.

Smart play would've been to stay another year, and get his Masters (which he plans on doing anyway, but now needs to come out of pocket for it).

No one "has to stay", swear you guys make it sound like a jail sentence. Plus the AVERAGE person is in college 5-6 years, and they have to come out of pocket. On top of that a Masters degree makes you extremely valuable in any job market.

He sacrificed a solid long term decision for short term and impulsive move.

Using those numbers to say he's a good QB is like using ERA to pick the best pitcher or Batting Average to decide who is the better hitter. He has a terrible deep ball, he underthrows his receivers a lot. He doesn't have many INT"s because he dinks and dunks. Can't run and doesn't follow progressions, I don't think he realizes that the TE position is eligible to catch the ball. Calling him a bootleg John David Booty is an insult to John David Booty.

It looks like FSU may be working on an agreement to open the 2016 season vs Ole Miss in Orlando.

why not go after a Tier 1 SEC team?

I would love to see programs like LSU vs FSU go at it one home and one away

FSU vs Georgia would be good for college football also

Some of those teams are already locked into games and certain schools won't play FSU

Bama opens w/ USC, LSU opens with Wisconsin, etc

iirc they were trying to get something worked out w/ UGA for 2016 (or at least there was chat about it)

Dre what's all this TMZ **** about jamies point shaving the first half of the UL game.

TMZ is gonna TMZ. Started as a rumor in a forum and some media outlets took off with it. Jameis' high school teammate hit a lick by taking Louisville +1 in the first half. Now, of course, Jameis was the mastermind orchestater of the whole thing. #blamejameis
