Freeze Fires Back

Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini  was asked earlier this week about wide receiver Damore'ea Stringfellow's sudden reversal to transfer to Ole Miss instead of Nebraska. Pelini's response was to wag an accusing finger at Ole Miss. "Read between the lines," Pelini said. He also appeared to refer to Stringfellow's mom when he referenced "clueless parents."

Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze  was asked about Pelini's comments Friday during a press conference at Ole Miss.

"We’re certainly confident in the way our coaching staff goes about doing things," Freeze said. "I reached out to him (Pelini) and said ‘hey, if you have something that I don’t know, please call me.’ I got no response. I don’t know. I will say this, the lady I dealt with was very charming, intelligent and very observant. I think there are a lot of reasons that it may have gone our way. I’m sure he had a reason he said it. We’re glad we have String and his mom.

^I'd suspect around Heisman time just like the 1st one. The director said they're pretty much done with interviews, etc.
Jovon Robinson: 'I'm Solid To Auburn'
VIP  Aug 1, 2:51 PM

Five-star running back Jovon Robinson  told AuburnUndercover that reports he's wavering on his commitment to Auburn are false.

A former 7-on-7 coach of Robinson's told AUC that he may still be in play, and that Alabama could be a threat.

"I have no idea what he's talking about," Robinson said. "I haven't spoken to that guy in at least three years, maybe four."

Man, I hope they can break through just so we have parity. But one power conference would have to have a really down year.

What reasoning is Mizzou going to give to the NCAA for DGB's waiver?  They "ran him off" because of media pressure?

They seem confident for some reason, too. Must have that backroom connection.
Possibly

But a lot of that confidence probably stems from Mizzou's cooperation.  For DGB to get the waiver, Mizzou has to state why DGB was ran off and how it was outside his control to the NCAA. http://www.athleticscholarships.net/2014/02/06/the-ncaas-little-known-run-off-waiver.htm

Saying that they ran him off because he wasn't good enough wouldn't make a lot sense obviously.  The only possible reasoning that I can think off, that they can give to the NCAA is that they "ran him off" because of media pressure.

The thing that makes the least amount of sense to me though, is why is Mizzou helping OU with the waiver?  Is it for recruiting?  Do they really think DGB got a raw deal?

Is this the season we see the decline of *****gon?

Damn I thought that would get past the censors
