Probably Pacific Islander but some apps have Native Hawaiian. He's not Hawaiian though. His mom is white and his dad is Samoan IIRC.

SMU has big money boosters, administration keeps them away. Big reason why they've been down so long. It was the point of Eric Dickerson's rant the other day.
Knowing what I do know & read over the years TCU does benefit from a down SMU. Hell if things were even Baylor & Texas Tech does too.

Any chance Butch Davis gets that job? It seems like the boosters want Morris but Davis would be a better hire IMO.

To be fair its not really "peoples" boards, It's just Mel's. To my knowledge Mel is really the only one of these media draftnik types to move MM above Winston based on last weeks performance. IIRC some had MM above Winston going into this season but a lot of that seemed to have to do with Winston's off the field problems.

Real - but stupid - question: Can MM run a normal pro style offense? Can he read a defense, drop back, and pass every down? Does he have a quick release? Is he accurate downfield? How big are his hands? (

I haven't paid attention like that to his passing so I'm genuinely curious about those things. Can someone tell me how he projects on the next level?
It also needs to be asked... if he was Black would he be projected middle first round and called a "running QB"?

Yeah, no. Marcus isn't going to do **** in the NFL. I barely trust his arm in college. No chance he makes it in the NFL.
Of course, he's going to get drafted in the top 3, I have no doubts there, but he's going to suck something fierce too, I have no doubts there either.
RG3 ripped thru college. Tore it apart. And he's going to be dead real soon in Washington if something doesn't change. And MM is no where near RG at the college level.
