People on canes boards are going crazy over the AQM suspension. Dude literally got suspended the whole year over a fight. There's kids getting felonys out here and getting in bar fights missing one game against FCS opponents then playing the next game. He got in to a fight no police charges but gets suspended for a whole year

Rewatched the game... First half wasn't awful... Michigan just didn't get any breaks and ND capitalized on every one they were afforded... Wile isn't a good FG kicker and Hagerup looked awful on punts... Jack Miller had trouble with Jones and that gave DG happy feet... DG isn't a good QB, far from it... He looks at the rush too much (can't fault him too much since he gets pressured a lot) but he has awful pocket presence and usually moves into the worst spots possible... RBs weren't bad, neither were the WRS but the WRs need to move back to the ball instead of equating

Defense was pretty bad but it all stems from the corners... Not having Jabrill and Ray who are physically imposing hurt but I don't know how much... Blake was terrible and looks so soft trying to play bump and run... Kid needs to hit the bench... Lewis looked fine after the PI calls... 1st one I can see but the 2nd was awful... Not another ball completed on him after the 2nd... Safeties suck but thats been the story since Shazor was a SOPH... DL lacks pass rush...Clark will never play on Sundays because he has zero discipline... So many cutbacks are to his side... Hope the corners work on getting there hands on the WRs or this Cover 1 concept needs to be scrapped

thoughts on people saying Leonard Williams is the best D Lineman to ever play at SC?

I feel like I don't know enough about the way older teams to make that call, but I remember Haden made similar comments last year

And you know you can't beat tailgates at the Rose Bowl.

we're closer to the rose bowl by like 10+ miles

you even travel less to play us at the coliseum than you do to play "home" games

Michigan isn't any good. I say this because I don't think ND is good.

They were summoned from their Harrisburg, Pa., home to a meeting with coach Urban Meyer, defensive line coach Larry Johnson and their son late yesterday. Noah Spence, who had been suspended from the Orange Bowl the end of last season and the first two games of this year after his father said a Big Ten drug test at the league title game found traces of ecstasy in his system, apparently tested positive for it again. The results weren’t known until late this week, which explains why he was listed on the depth chart Tuesday for the first time this season.

At that meeting Noah Spence revealed his problem to his parents, they said. That’s opposed to what happened in December when he had said he thought someone had spiked his drink at a party. Greg Spence said that of course he and his wife were stunned by the latest revelation.

“But he had the strength to be honest with us about it, and he took ownership of it,” Greg Spence said in a brief interview with The Dispatch  today.

Said Helen Spence: “Just looking at my son you could see a big burden had been lifted off of him.”

With the Buckeyes poised to take on the Golden Flashes at noon Saturday, Meyer was unavailable for comment.

In the email, his parents wrote “We are uncertain how long he will be ineligible, but we will work with Ohio State and the Big Ten until we have a final resolution.”

At the moment he likely is suspended indefinitely, since this was his second positive test. The NCAA classifies ecstasy as a stimulant on its list of banned substances, though its known effects seem counter to being anything other than a deterrent to someone playing a sport.

This was handed down by the school administration. Specifically Patricia Whitely who is the vice president of student affairs.

IMO, the suspension is over the top but they were following the student code of conduct in place for the the ENTIRE student body.

This was handed down by the school administration. Specifically Patricia Whitely who is the vice president of student affairs.

IMO, the suspension is over the top but they were following the student code of conduct in place for the the ENTIRE student body.

yeah if anything al golden looked out for him, he would have lost a year of eligibility had he played him , this is school policy

Yea I read golden was fighting for him to be able to play. So if you get Into a fist fight with your roommate you get suspended for a whole semester?
