@darrenrovell

Source: Gurley was looking for $8 to $25 a signature. Would accept less if he signed more pieces.

Arkansas is going to wear throwback uniforms against Bama this Saturday to honor the 1964 NC team.

gonna look like a bama spring game

 SI.com has learned that a person confirmed to Georgia’s compliance office this week that he paid Gurley $400 to sign 80 items on campus in Athens, Ga., one day this past spring. The person claimed to have a photo and video of Gurley signing the items, but neither the photo nor the video showed money changing hands. NCAA rules require schools to immediately declare a player ineligible if they discover a violation has been committed. Schools may then apply for the player’s reinstatement. Reached by text message on Thursday afternoon, Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity declined comment.

is is too soon to throw him back on the field?

UF did the right thing, but these false accusations and immediate punishments can really hurt a player.

So what does Treon Harris do now?

He will stay and he will play

The university had to play it safe with Winston, Ray Rice, AD and all this non sense going down with football players teams and university are starting to ACT first as if its worst case scenario to save face and if the player is innocent they will be brought back no harm or damage done

Treon and the whole team knew it was all false so they just kept quite and did what the coaches said

UF handled this perfectly BUT they can thank FSU for that

FSU showed everybody in the country what NOT to do! You dont wanna drag your university and football team through the mud just let the kid off the team cover the tracks if any and let him back on

No way Treon sees the field tomorrow. Even IF he is reinstated by the end of today, he hasn't been to practice, hasn't been to any team meetings, hasn't had any way to prepare for LSU. I hope it's Driskel-Morninweg (sp?) tomorrow and handing it off all day. Grier can keep his redshirt.

I really hope this is the last we hear of this. Treon's name has been tarnished enough.

Just seems like they let the media dictate how their decision. Also had dad's and media saying he should have been kicked out of school

400 for gurley ? At those discounted liquidation prices i can have the u back to prominence by 2020  2016
 best running back in the country (arguably, i don't wont any trouble) went down over 400. hell with what i spent on my wife last week i couldve have had the best qb and receiver enrolling at the U come January....give them 2015 to learn the offense and by 2016 we're in the orange bowl.
