LOL. Per UCLA Insider:

Ryan Newsome is trying to get Texas to release him from his NLI. It's unlikely it will happen.

That sucks, man. And it explains why Ryan tweeted out to Roquan after verballing to Texas to go to UCLA.

I hope it was Ryan's decision to stay in Texas and not his family pressuring him. Families need to throw their support behind their children on these decisions unless they absolutely feel it necessary to do otherwise.

Nah I think he really just wants to leave the state. If you watch that interview I posted, from what he says and what's transpired today (UCLA DC/LB Coach leaving) it's a no brainer for him. Instead he opens his recruitment back up to 2 teams he already eliminated..!?

Tough for me to make a decision on this. Sometimes parents do the right thing and know that their child is not a great fit for numerous reason. Sometimes the parents have their own motive$. Sometimes u need to let your child go and experience life and fail.
