Anyone else stop watching SportsCenter/ESPN?

PTI, First Take, and ATH are ok. sportscenter is just a highlight reel. only so much sports to talk about so can't expect TOO much.

bring back NBA on NBC .OG theme and all...
 
ATH/PTI is always a good watch for me

NFL Matchup as well

Other than that no thanks
 
I voted "Kinda Carappy", but then thought I would elaborate as to why I voted that way.

I will watch ESPN for sports content that can't be seen anywhere else like the Team USA Showcase for example, but other than that. I can't watch Sportscenter when the major sports like the NFL, NBA, and MLB overlap during the PEAK of their seasons.

For example:

I only watch Sportscenter for Week 1 of the NFL to get a pulse of what the season is going to be and sporadically tune in up until the World series is over because I do not like baseball. Once the NBA starts I'll watch SC only for the NFL Wildcard/Playoff picture updates since the NBA doesn't heat up for me til Christmas. I truly don't get back into SC til the NBA Playoffs approach. I know it sounds weird but, ehh.

The other thing is that I know that Golf, Tennis, NASCAR/Formula 1, and Boxing are almost year round sports so that also plays into effect of me tuning in to SC on a VERY limited basis. In fact IMHO I feel like SC favors NASCAR over all sports followed by the NFL and MLB tied at second.

Cliffnotes:

- AFTER the World Series
- Tentatively through the NBA Season and FULLY during the NBA Playoffs

Highly Questionable has become my favorite show on there. Papi keeps saying funny stuff to see what he can get away with.

And they have the best interviews....but they youtube them so to answer your question no I dont want espn lol
 
I can watch ESPN all day. First Take is still my morning staple. Sports Center is Sports Center

And Cassidy Hubbarth is flames
 
Yeah, I agree that Sports Center has gotten worse over the last few years. But one thing to understand with the timing of this thread is that, currently, today....It isn't basketball, football, OR hockey season. That's a LOT of material that they can't use right now.

I ain't watched ESPN/Sportscenter since the 2012 NBA finals.  Before that I was watching it religiously  
 
Only watch for PTI and ATH

Stopped watching SC

I read all my news now.
 
Really don't watch TV unless it's a game

I do listen to espn radio on my commute sometimes. other than that all the sports coverage i want is online, the TV stuff is unbearable :x
