The Browns offense probably will be depleted, and if Manziel starts, he's going to be doing so against teams that play fairly well against rookie QBs. Whether they're the same teams from years past isn't really relevant, they have improved a good deal on the defensive side of the ball regardless. It's going to be tough for Cleveland.
 
If they conclude that it WAS second hand smoke......how are you still going to suspend him 8 games.

That doesn't make any sense. Either he gets the whole year or nothing, really.

Because his legal team is ideally seeking reduction, not eradication of the suspension. 8 games is a compromise.
 
I still don't see how that makes sense :lol:

If their verdict is that he never smoked weed and the test sample only tested positive because he was around it then why would he be punished at all?

So Gordon's legal team is appealing. Harold Henderson, hearing officer, is deciding in the next week or two. Either Henderson will eradicate the suspension completely or force Gordon to serve the full-length of 16 games.

Here's what I'm saying. Before Henderson makes a final decision, Gordon's team can reach a settlement or compromise if they are uncertain or fearful that Henderson will rule against their appeal and maintain a 16-game suspension. The middle ground makes sense for both parties. Henderson doesn't have to make a difficult decision, Gordon "gets off" on half the time he was supposed to sit out originally.

Hope that makes more sense with the clarification.

- Pierre Garcon leads the NFL in receiving yards
- Matthew Stafford gets benched at some point in the season
- injuries really hammer the 49ers this season and they wind up 8-8

yeah I'd swap Giants for Packers now that I think about it. Have no problem with the Falcons though, I think they bounce back well this year

Mike Smith and Mike Nolan, yet you still worry about the defensive personnel. 8 or 9 wins and ATL just misses the playoffs. How loyal will Blank remain to Smith?

None of those teams better than the falcons especially the sorry *** BUCS....you're not even better on paper...stop trying to include your sorry *** teams at the cool table during lunch...nerd
 
Literally every single player on the Bucs defense is better than every defensive player on the Falcons.

Our secondary alone better than the bucs....your **** show defense been "good" for how many seasons ? Your team ain't stopping anyone....that so called "Defense" you have won't stop anyone on our offense...the only thing questionable on the falcon D is the linebackers...that's it.
