I rather take my Chances with Eli not have his worst season of his career and only having to Win based on last season the weakest division in the NFC Vs Cards and Rams facing each other and the rest of the NFC West. I know your a Bucs fan but you are banking on a Career Backup QB and shaky O-line.

Mike Glennon dropped 41 points on you guys last year. Bobby Rainey had 163 rushing yards and two TD's. Vincent Jackson had 165 receiving yards and a one handed TD on that secondary you speak of.
Your only two offensive weapons are Roddy White coming off the worst year of his career and Julio coming off a season ending foot injury. We have VJax and Evans to match those two, and Doug Martin is better than any RB on your roster.
I don't even know who the hell your safeties are but Verner, Banks, Goldson and Barron >>>> whatever bums you got back there, Trufant and that other dude who was a rookie last year.

Goldson and Barron are definitely a better safety pair than Mo and Southward. Long-term I prefer Alford and Des to Verner and Banks. Although it's close and I'm open for debate in that regard.

Verner and Banks are 24 and 25. I'll take them right now and long term over both those bum Falgoons.

Des is 23 and Alford 25. Trufant may truly end up being better than the other three corners mentioned. And you know I like Banks a lot, have to keep it honest.

Meh we'll see. Verner was one of the best corners in the league last year and fits the Tampa two perfect. Banks was solid and has looked awesome in camp. All the athletic ability and size in the world too.
Having McCoy, Lavonte, Michael Johnson, Clayborn and Foster in front of them helps as well.

Southward isn't the starting safety tho...(although I would like him to be) but Dwight lowery will start over him if he remains healthy...
Trufant better than any corner on that bucs roster and Alford is well on his way to being on par with Trufant...you see buc em...that's what happens when you have two great WRs to put up against your corners in practice...
