I signed up for this collectors box thing from Funko...only 25$ every two months and you get 50$ worth of exclusives...first box brings HB so eff it, figure I try it, kind of cool to get a box full of surprises

From reading the description, apparently you get exclusives you just don't find everywhere...which that alone is pretty cool.


How do you guys showcase your collections?...
 
I got ya. That's why my plan was to sign up for the Hulkbuster only and wait to see what else they will have. In the end, I think it's just saving you from spending a lot of money each time they drop, and you get a golden Capt statue, lol.
 
Is it just my location or every Gamestop have problems with the boxes looking straight up man handled?

Yeah man mine had a ton of Hawkeyes. They also have the Borderland funkos
 
I've had the Marvel subscription box since it was first announced. Apparently Hulkbuster IS exclusive to them. Although I believe PopCultcha has them up for pre order I think they themselves have subscriptions as well. I went for the bi monthly plan. The Oscar looking statue wasn't worth the upfront Founders price to me. June's box will be Ant Man themed. I have a similar subscription box called NerdBlock which I've been getting since last November. They way I look at these subscriptions is I'm buying a shirt every month. NerdBlock is about $32 shipped a month, the Marvel box costs just about the same. The graphic shirts I value at $20, they also ship from Canada so that's about $10 in shipping alone. Everything else in these boxes is a bonus to me.

So for the Marvel box you get a Shirt ($20), Hulkbuster ($15 which I believe is what the 6" POPs go for) and two or three other exclusive Marvel items. Well worth the subscription price.


ALSO is it ok to buy/sell/trade on this thread? Or do we still have to use the miscellaneous section in the classifieds?
 
Mods probably want allow it, though I feel it shouldn't be a problem being that it will be just us in this thread. I say post the Pop you're looking to trade/buy/sell and just communicate through PMs. Thats what me and some of the other members do.
 
I was hoping Castiel would pop up during the HT restock. Resell prices for him have been going up.

I see Metallic Magneto is sold out again, glad I was able to cop.
 
Yea thats what I figured blacklion23 blacklion23 just like we did for Venom and Spidey. Just don't wanna get banned or anything for it.

My small Marvel collection is growing btw, I'll post a pic in a few.
