FUNKO POP! VINYL THREAD (FUNTKO FACTION) STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED...

Sesane street pop. Theyre around but i think not everywhere

Got a boy trying to unload his Hseinberg for 40 shipped
That seems like a pretty fair price considering the prices on eBay already :smh:

As far as comparing these to Beanie Babies, I'm not in this to make a profit or anything like that. Pure enjoyment for me, building collections and getting my favorite characters. And I take mine out of the box, photograph them, let my friends' kids play with em. They probably won't be worth anything down the line, but it'd be cool just to keep em, maybe pass em on to my kids.

Looking for the Blue Sky Heisenberg & the Kobe Bryant one...all of the Hot Topics sold out of the Heisenberg here in GA.

Cool story. You're an early adopter.

As with every bubble, it'll pop. I'm sure Funko will continue to produce Pops for years to come, but its current hot commodity status won't last. That's what it means to be a fad.

And sneakers (fad)?

You can't compare these to beanie babies.

As long as they continue to make pops geared to new movie releases and to appeal to ALL people - they'll be relevant.

Your SN and Avy are cursed by a "fad".

I think these will be relevant for a long time. There are still a lot of people that have no idea wtf a Funko Pop is. It only takes one

A lot of people still don't know what a Funko Pop is. I don't think the bubble is close to popping yet. There's still a lot more room to grow.

Hey guys miss me?!?! Had to lock down my stuff bro! joepapamama23 joepapamama23

Got to HT around 9:10, found out they were opening at 9:30. There's like 3 dudes there, we chop it up start talking POPs and what everyone's looking to get.

View media item 1621426My HT had a small display table with their SDCC stuff. Only 8 Heisenbergs. Home girl I talk to when i shop there said there would be restocks on SOME of them, Heisenberg likely not being one of them. He's Deffinitely the most rare at HT.

View media item 1621427I drive over to B&N and manage to finish getting all I wanted aside from the Funko TMNT shirt, Grinning Ultron and the SDCC exclusive Superman Vs Batman pack.

View media item 1621439Snuffy having that double sticker though... :smokin he was also the rarest at B&N they only had two.

View media item 1621428IF ANYONE COMES ACROSS THIS SHIRT CAN YOU PLEASE PICK IT UP FOR ME?!?!? I need a size 3X PayPal ready, or will trade for POPs..

These will likely be traded..

Why are you so defensive papi?

You're looking at it wrong.

Are sneakers a fad? No, they're a necessary part of our everyday lives and also evolve and adapt with the current trend and time. Remember Air Force 1s? Fila Grant Hills? Those were popular and trendy back then. Are they now? Nah. Shoe companies develop new ideas and implement new trends.

Are toys/collectible figurines a fad? No, they too evolve and adapt with time. Pops are a single type of toy and people will eventually find them stale and grow old of them. Will Funko continue making them? I'm sure of it. Will people eat it up in 5 years as much as they do now? Probably not.

Get it now?

Thread jumps 5 pages.
Looks at all the new screen names.. :nerd:

I had such a good time today meeting and talking to people, I guess the angry mobs were at SDCC. I expected the arguing and shoving but everything went smooth.

B&N also gave me a cool POP! Movies poster with my purchase.

Not worth debating over.

How am i talking bad about it? Just stated my thoughts on a question someone asked.

Y'all acting like I just insulted your moms. I collect pops myself. All I said was that pops's popularity won't last the way it is right now through the years.

Who ******* cares if the bubble POPs?!?!

I swear some people get into things for the wrong reason.

I buy what I like, can afford and could trade.

Personally I hope it POPs so I can finally get a ******* Red Skull or The Thing for a normal price!!

Red Skull is way up there! And it's crazy how figures like Thing go from readily available to skyrocket prices on eBay with a quickness. I meant to get some of the Muppets Pops and kept putting it off and now Fozzie and Dr. Teeth (two I wanted the most) are $50+. It's the retirement, I guess.
