Easily one of my favorite snacks to eat. Very easy to make, and keep for a while in the fridge. Its one of my favorite things about driving through the south. You'll see roadside signs showing them for sale.

You only need three ingredients: Raw(Preferably fresh aka Green) peanuts, water, and salt. I like to add cayenne pepper to mine.

Def do and I add cayenne paper too, lips be on FIRE.

Farts be deadly too

Takes like 4 hours though :smh:

Never had them, but this reminds me of the Young Jeezy interview with the awkward white dude.

Like it boiled Asian style.

Basically a red braise with a little soy sauce.

And are boiled peanuts and RC cola really a thing in the South?

I feel like I get linked to food network whenever I scan the generals

They look :x
My daughter tears these up like no ones business

*goes to gas station to grab an RC*

I can't speak on RC cola as I don't drink it, but boiled peanuts are definitely a Southern thing.

Boiled peanuts? I never heard of these before. Must be a southern thing. Cats up north don't really mess with stuff like that

Southern staple. They only good if cooked with neckbones. The ones from the gas station are trash. Gotta go through the hood & cop a bag. That's plus an Arnold palmer on a hot day :smokin

I'm sorry what?

Been here 17 years. Notta 1 time I've seen this

You missing out.

Neckbones, pepperbones, all good stuff

I mean I don't rock with neckbones, that might be why.
You add neckbones or chitlins to anything, my dad will devour it.
I'll ask him when we get out of the car
