Police Kill Unarmed Teen In Ferguson, Missouri

If these protests are 100% peaceful, this same thing will happen two months from now and that cop will get off free too. You gotta hit people where it hurts, their pocket books or their heart beats for things to really change.

Protest all you want, the Police will sit, watch, laugh and then go back to brutally policing every person of color once people stop giving a **** and CNN finds a new story.
 
Seriously, this is the illest stall tactic I've ever seen. I think they figure they can wait it out longer to just wear people out. They're hoping people will get tired of being out there protesting and things will die down. Then they can make the announcement that this piece of **** is getting absolutely no charges brought against him and the energy will hopefully have died down enough to avoid any rioting. I'm getting sick of white people saying "I hope everyone just keeps the peace, violence isn't going to solve anything..." WTF are they supposed to do, theres kids getting killed out here.
 
The sad part is the protests HAVE been peaceful. Yet the media still paints the people like savages. Yet you have Obama and multiple leaders urging people to "keep the peace". The only people being violent and escalating the situations are the cops rolling around like they're in Call of Duty. The only "protesters" who have caused trouble are white anarchists looking to stir trouble. Those people have been gone. I'll never understand this stuff. Never.

What do these people gain from protecting Darren Wilson? What do they gain from attacking peaceful protesters? What do they gain from black people looking bad in the media? What do they gain from Black people dying?

This dude MURDERED someone in broad daylight for everyone to see, and he's somewhere chilling right now watching tv probably :smh:

I feel for Mike Brown's parents bruh. I can only imagine how they feel with all this going on..

a whole lotta nothin. same as the trayvon martin **** this is all a bull**** dog and pony show. until we get organized and stop playing by the rules of the system well never get freedom. we kill eachother in throngs on a daily basis but wheres the uprising against all those murders? the hypocrisy of our ppl. were so disconnected its not even funny.

CLEVELAND (AP) - A 12-year-old boy brandishing what turned out to be a replica gun died Sunday after he was shot by a Cleveland police officer responding to a 911 call about a person waving a gun in a park.

Deputy Chief Ed Tomba said the officer fired twice after the boy pulled the fake weapon - which was lacking the orange safety indicator usually on the muzzle - from his waistband.

The boy did not make any verbal threats toward the officer or point the gun, but reached into his waistband and grabbed it after being told to raise his hands, Tomba said.

"That's when the officer fired," he said.

Police said the weapon was an "airsoft" type replica gun that resembled a semi-automatic pistol. The orange safety indicator had been removed, police said.

A man who called 911 told dispatchers before police arrived that the boy was on a swing set and pointing a pistol that was "probably fake" and scaring everyone.

The caller said the boy was pulling the gun in and out of his pants. "I don't know if it's real or not," the caller said.

Jeff Follmer, president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association, said the officers were not told the caller thought the gun might be fake.

The officer called to the park saw the pistol sitting on a table, and watched the boy grab it and put it in his waistband, Follmer said.

The hospital where the boy died and an attorney for his family would not release his name on Sunday.

Attorney Timothy Kucharski said the boy went to the park with friends Saturday afternoon, but he did not know the details of what led to the shooting. "I don't want to make a rush to judgment," he said.

He said he wants to talk to witnesses and get more facts. "We're ultimately going to find out what happened," Kucharski said.

Although i get your point, I hate when people do this. Cry out that we don't raise enough stink when we kill "each other". That point is irrelevant to this situation because this isn't a civilian killing another civilian,this is a government official killing a citizen for some reason that will likely never be known. People "uprise" on the murders against "ourselves" everyday but the media will not showcase blacks getting together positively. Racial unity doesn't sell like murder

whites kill whites

It's all about environment; you kill who you interact with the most.

BUT...this is about police killing blacks and browns for target practice.
 
yeah, its shameful that we uphold the power structure thinking they have our best interest in mind instead of empowering ourselves. juliani obama the mayor etc all the same

Why do yaw keep saying blacks unite. Making it a race problem when white people get popped and killed by cops just as much.

As I said before until people put race aside, it will never get fixed. A black cop just got off killing a unarmed white person cold blood. Now you know if they had it out agasint us the black cop would be through and in prison.

Another black cop here ran over a white young kid, a girl, in his undercover car speeding to a call. When he pulled over, he threw out his vodka bottle. Before he took his drug test, the white cop took him to get gatorade to chug down which was on camera. They charged him but he got off and got has job back with welcome arms

Only people. I never heard getting popped by cops is Mexican and chinesee


Mexican.. The notorious gangs might come here

Chinese.. We do too much business with them overseas


It's not a race thing, wish people would get over that..

In particular case specifically because this thread is specifically for addressing a race problem. But I get your point and I say it myself, removing race from this case the issues are still there and need to be addressed and resolved. Can't believe you never heard of a Hispanic person being shot by cops considering a stereotypical reason would be drugs or immigration. Must not visit the south enough

This thread isn't about a race issue. That's were you wrong

Few months ago here I posted a lot of white cop killed white guy unarmed shootings. And black cop kill white guy. Cops were never charged except for 1 who got off

Its not a race issues that's a cop out and excuse...

It's easier to say race issue then to deal with the problem in whole
