People would be mad but I don't think you have this wide-scale outrage. There's evidence that favors both MB and DW. The majority of the outrage comes from a storyline that does not comport with common sense, and a lack of an opportunity to see justice unfold court.Let me ask you this, assuming DW was indicted and ultimate acquitted after trial, do you think the public response would have been the same or different?
Lawyer here. I think the chances of DW getting convicted in court were slim due to a number of things, including some well-planned tactics by the Ferguson police department. However, there was MORE than enough to warrant a trial, had the prosecutor done his job.
I've seen quite a few of you in here going over all the details and debating guilt and innocence. This isn't about whether or not DW is guilty or innocent. It's about not having the chance to find out.
Honestly, I think the majority of anger comes from everything that took place once MB fled. Everything from that moment on makes little sense.
