Alot of cats on this site think just like Larry Elder when it comes to this particular situation regarding Mike Brown.

I'm trying to understand why the police are mad, you would of thought Wilson died and not Mike Brown.

No, the subject is making broad generalizations about an entire group of people based on the actions of a few.   No one's defending the cop that killed Michael Brown but to make a blanket statement that ALL cops are bad is simply ignorant.

I very clearly said not all cops are bad...but that the good ones cover for the bad ones.  Do you just sit up reading this thread with the screw face on mad at black people or what?

When did I ever say all black people were bad? Police officers all over this country come from different ethnic, cultural, economic and racial backgrounds, yet you seem to have this notion that they all have this NATIONWIDE collective mindset that vilifies black people.  If a cop isn't a bad one, he's still guilty by association because he doesn't stop the behavior of the bad ones. right?

Time and time again, you and other posters here automatically label anyone who tries to be impartial and have an open, objective, perspective on things as being somehow a white racist.  Please...

I'd love to come across an opposing attorney in Court who will put their fingers in their ears and walk out of the Court room instead of engaging in actual meaningful discussion or debate.   Oh no! Killer Mike was basically talking to Brooke Baldwin :smile:o) and saying how barber shops are a pillar of the black community and that he has plenty of police officers that are clientele their and the cops are disgusted by what's going on and the lack of treatment for people in ferguson and that if the pig isn't indicted cops will never be looked at the same

Marc Lamont Hill was just making Larry Elder sound stupid
 
I still can't believe Larry Elder blamed Black fatherhood for what happened to Mike Brown. Not to mention he brought up Chicago crime as well? Are these people reading from the same deflection handbook? It's the same record being played over and over again.

See that last underlined and BOLDED sentence??  I'm all for holding people accountable  for their criminal actions, Darren Wilson or any other bad cop included.  But to make blanket statements about all cops based on the actions of a few is no different that these bad cops making broad generalizations about all black people based on the actions of a few bad ones.  How you interpreted that as me somehow vilifying all black people is beyond me.

We tell you why you're wrong and why it's not really worthy of actual debate. You nor the other ignorant ones are willing to open your mind. What's the point of debating with clowns like that?

If you REALLY care, do some extensive research on racism, police/government vs. black people and how alive racism is today. The Internet is full of resources. If you choose to ignore what we say and choose not to do research, you're not worthy of discussing the subject.

If a black person makes a negative generalization about a cop, they stay away from them, they don't cooperate

If a cop makes a negative generalization about a black person...harassment, jail time, fines, and or death.

Who does the generalization hurt more, a cop or a black citizen? Think about it and come back to this thread when you have the answer. I won't block you, I'm willing to listen....
