Tony Stewart Strikes driver during race after he gets out of car

dude. he killed someone, if not crimminal charges, then what charges? hes a killer to me, it was not an accident of impact. another celebrity escapes punishment.

@Bravelude  How do you know it wasn't an accident? were you in the car? Are you even familiar with sprint car racing at all?  Irrational conclusions......

as stated above, correct decision was made. It was an unfortunate event but the kid made some terrible choices

lol. okay. he still struck him

Wow, he was high???
eek.gif

I don't think anyone ever argued he didn't strike him...

I'll trust the experts and grand jury on this one. I'm simply not familiar with this type of racing to judge much further

So they tested Kevin Ward obviously, but didn't test Stewart?

Enough to impair judgement? Yeah getting high is why he walked on the track. :rolleyes

This doesn't feel right.

i think if they said it was enough to impair his judgement that probably means it wasn't just in his system from days or weeks before the race........

guys act like the kid jumped in front of tony, guys act like the road is too dark that no one can see a thing, guys act like these cars can‘t turn.

truth is, other cars avoided ward, and tony had distance, yet he decided to fish tail slap his vehicle. guys dunno what the last chance rule is? if tony really sensed a collision by ward walking towards him in which he spotted from diatance away, he wouldve stopped or crashed.his.vehicle to avpis. but tony didt. he decided the race was still going on. guys act like Tony driving as escudo on a straigjtaway in gran ypurismo n culdnt turn. sad.

You have no idea what you're talking about and have probably never seen a sprint car before until this incident

They're gonna propagandize the **** outta this. Tony Stewart gets away with vehicular manslaughter/murder and marijuana gets the wrap. :smh:

they're both at fault imo.....tony shouldn't have tried to scare him by hitting the throttle and the kid should've never came down on the outside of a sprint care on a dirt track.......that was very idiotic on his part

If I know sprint cars kick out like hell then his *** should've known that too

So if he were on the road and hit someone, he was DUI. Marijuana still gonna take the wrap. ******* potheads kill me. He was under the influence at some point and could have been during the race.

The family is hinting at suing Stewart. He shouldn't have to pay a dime.

If if if if if if if if if if if if if if could could could could could.

He didn't hit anybody. Tony Stewart did. ******* close minded conservatives kill me. :rolleyes

Tony Stewart killed the kid. While both are at fault, one is alive and one is dead. Somehow Tony Stewart couldn't evade him and hit the gas while everyone else somehow missed him. He also somehow wasn't subjected to a drug test after the race, even though anyone who's ever hit and or killed someone in a motor vehicle has before. He was also gonna race the day after until ESPN blew the story up and he looked like a ****.

But yeah. Potheads man I tell yah.

Just like Ward's parents asserted this shouldn't just be about Ward now with the toxicology report coming out. My problem enlies with the fact that Stewart has been completely cleared since they found marijuana in Ward's system. Literally none of Stewart's mistakes matter because Kevin Ward Jr. smoked at some point recently. His parents should absolutely get him civilly.

Ward jumps out onto the race track like an idiot, and it's Tony's fault? Okay....
A number of other drivers avoided Ward, but Tony couldn't?

Not to mention, Tony was crushing that night, meaning he was handling his vehicle exceptionally, but other amateur drivers managed to avoid Ward? Just zoomed on by.

Oh everyone avoided him??  There was one driver who actually almost hit the kid and then the kid came way down into the middle of the track in front of Stewart.  Y'all are hilarious man.

You really think he would purposely run over a kid in front of a crowd of people and cameras knowing it would put an end to his career and land him in jail???  Tony Stewart didn't have a single reason to be angry at the kid, why would he do something so drastic????????????

They didn't even make contact when Ward crashed. Here's a hint, Sprint cars do not have mirrors, which means Stewart didn't even know he crashed until he came back around the track. Please tell me, how could he possibly be so pissed off at this kid that he would consider running him down like that?
