I'd gladly take remakes of all the those games but I know that FF XII has the best chance at a remaster, especially considering since Square already a FF VII remake would mean they have no ideas left.

I used to be all for a FF7 remake (or any other great one) but now I realize that no remake would live up to the OG. Anything they change would everyone furious. If I want to play those older games I'll just bust out the PS and make it happen

I've been playing since it came out in 2006 on PS2..I even bought a new PS2 so I can continue playing it..must have played 700+ hours over almost 8 yrs and still haven't gotten bored of it..even attempted playing a perfect game of some sorts

9 is cool but never finished..
I'm a huge fan of 6 (ff3 on snes)
12 has the most replay value of any game I ever played..there is one particular level in the game (cerobi steppe) that I hav ran around for years..most awesome environment to run around

Graphics aren't THAT bad
Part of the charm of the game are the blocky character IMO. Everything that the PS version had made it what it was IMO.

Exactly. The reason why us Old heads have such fond memories of old games is because when you played games with limited graphics your imagination filled in the gaps; that's something that kids and teens playing games now will never have to do. Everything is already there for them. They take the game at face value and don't use their imagination at all.Graphics aren't THAT bad

I can appreciate that, obviously coming from playing NES/SNES games those graphics weren't always the best. But man, PS1 games were garish. Even MGS is difficult to play through for me just because I'm very aware of how bad the game looks now

Mgs1 is a good example. When twin snakes came out it was actually worse than the OG ps1 game.

finished Arkham Origins last week after beating City a while back. Never played Asylum before so decided to pick that up and I'm happy with the move. Actually just been having a mini batman phase, and watched Assault on Arkham and Batman Begins within the last week too
