alcoholics or recovering people what is your story?

I've had the same connect for 8 years now.  Always professional, always discreet, always has that fire.  This one's for you, big guy:

On the green front: I cop O's at a time.  $300-340 depending on quality.  Usually lasts me 8-12 weeks.

Can't smoke anymore (lung collapsed back in 2012), but I stay by my vape.  Just bought a G Pro and I honestly love it.  After owning a few Pax's, I can say that I like this much more. I feel like the design, the features, and the accessories are far superior than what the Pax offers.  Not to mention it's over $150 less.

Wanna get a regular G-Pen so I can start copping oil.

Damn lung collapsed? Damn..
What's that like?

@lamekilla.. It's just a long term business agreement if u a regular same thing over n over..these are car dealers/negotiations it's always doable.. don't put her on a pedestal

Connect appreciation post?

I rip my swishas down to size if I'm smoking less than .4, eyeball. Swisha sweet or my PAx, only way I like to smoke nowadays.

Honestly, I don't know how people go through not smoking or drinking. I'd kill someone.

It is crazy to me how people get paranoid when they smoke. I at an EDM festival this summer where people were doing some crazy crazy drugs, but they wouldn't smoke weed. They said it made them way to paranoid and they didn't like how it made them feel. Crazy to me.

But for me, mary is and always will be number 1.

Lol man some of you dudes gotta chill forreal. Have fun with it don't let it become your life.

I'll use this as an opportunity to tell my story:

Exactly one year and two days ago I was in the midst of my daily routine in the summer (smoke a bowl, go for a long bike ride, come home and take a nap).  After I woke up from my nap I went upstairs and got a granola bar.  As I was eating it, I got that feeling where you're eating too fast and you need to catch your breath.  The only problem was that my breath never came back and I felt a particular pain on the right side of my chest.  At first I thought I pulled a muscle, but after a while it became clear that it was the lung.  Every time I tried to take a deep breath I would get a sharp pain on the affected side.

I did some research and came to the conclusion that it was most likely a spontaneous pneumothorax. The signs and symptoms matched up and I fit the profile of a susceptible individual perfectly (tall, thin, male, smoker around the age of 25).  However, I didn't think it was serious at the time because every website said that cyanosis (turning blue) is a sign of a serious pneumothorax that requires immediate medical intervention and that a minor pneumothorax will heal on its own.  Considering that I was wasn't blue or completely incapacitated , I tried to ride it out.  I even went to my friend's house to show off my new car at the time

.  I tried to go to sleep when I got home, but I couldn't lay flat and my difficulty breathing kept me up all night.  I stayed up waiting for my doctor's office to open.  I went into the office at 9 AM on the dot and told them I thought I had a collapsed lung.  The PA told me to go straight to the ER because the most they could do was refer me to a radiologist for a chest x-ray.

I get a ride to the ER and head straight for the triage nurse.  I tell her that I think I have a spontaneous pneumothorax.  She rolls her eyes at me, gives me a clipboard to fill out and tells me to take a seat.  After a really short wait, they bring me into the ER and I'm seen by the DO.  I tell him the same thing, he rolls his eyes and says "I doubt it," but they order me a chest x-ray and EKG regardless. 20 minutes later the DO comes back and says "okay...so maybe you should go to Med School"

. He tells me that I have a complete pneumothorax and that I've been breathing on one lung since the day before. They tell me they're gonna have to put a chest tube in me in order to drain all the fluid out.

*Note: a spontaneous pneumothorax occurs when you have a "bleb" [an air pocket/blister] on your lung that ruptures.  The rupture sends fluid into the pleural space [the tissue that encapsulates the lungs as a protective layer]. When this happens the lung deflates and fluid puts pressure on the lung, causing the "collapse."  The chest tube sucks out all of the fluid and re-inflates the lung.

As I'm about to undergo anesthesia they tell me that I'll most likely be unconscious for about 15-20 minutes.  20-30 seconds after being put under I wake up and ask how long I've been out for.  The DO and the nurses all start laughing.  They tell me I "broke a world record." The feeling when they put the tube in was unforgettable. I could feel my lung re-inflating.  I've never coughed more violently in my life.

After  a Morphine drip, a Perc-30, a turkey sandwich, a ginger ale, and a few hours I was sent up to the Pulmonary unit. They tell me I'll probably be out of the hospital tomorrow.  Good one

. The first day wasn't bad, but they gave me a roommate around 9 PM: an 80-something year old dude with dementia that was sick with pneumonia.  Between the hacking, the talking to himself all night, and he bed alarm going off every 3 minutes from him trying to climb out of bed I had the worst three days of my life.  Not a wink of sleep.  Luckily he was discharged early and I spent the remaining time alone. I ended up staying a week, which was torture considering that I still owned a flip phone at the time.  The only upside was that I was an employee at the hospital I was at, so they gave me free cable.

They took the tube out and I was discharged 24 hours later.  I've smoked once or twice since, but I stick by my vape.  I started going to a Pulmonologist regularly and found out that I was an undiagnosed asthmatic. I've been taking Advair and Singulair since. I continue to ride my bike as a way to incorporate cardio into my everyday life.

And that's my story.  I get chatty when I'm buzzed.

Ima try not to drink this week n really get back on my eating healthy/fitness tip I took the week off smh

I just turned 21 today but I feel like I'm prone to becoming an alcoholic real fast. I feel better when I'm drinking and I don't worry so much. But when I'm sober the next day I feel like complete doom and thoughts aren't positive.

Just wanted to see some stories and get some perspective.
A friend of mine is very much like you. Wary of his drinking cuz he thinks he'll easily become an alcoholic. Says the same stuff about feeling down the next day. I'd keep a watch on it but seems like you're already doin that.

I don't know man they say if you drink everyday even during dinner yor considered an alch cuz you depend on it, truthfully I do all my drinking socially and I know my own limits, and yes like many ppl have said once you stop smoking tree you drink like a fish. But there is a thin line between having fun and having a problem, if you drink alone then you have a major problem, that also goes along with drinking during the work day or at work then your a friggin drunk.....op you just turned 21 you got many years ahead of ya trust me, but it will all work out in the end

I had a pax it was dope but didn't feel the need once I got a g-pen. Much more discreet. Now I just smoke Js. Games and Backwoods when its time for a blunt.

Yeah man ever since it's become legal to get a growers license in so many states, prices have plummeted.

Cats in Michigan are letting go of the killer for $250 a zip, easy.
