What's up guys...

I started a club at my middle school called: MARVEL VS DC UNIVERSE

Here is how I was thinking of running the club, but I could use more ideas/suggestions:

1) We have a fantasy draft on the first day, and every student selects their favorite HERO and favorite VILLAIN.
2) During club meetings we research, learn to draw, read comics, and watch film on your two characters.
3) Weekly debates where we randomly draw names out of a hat, and let the two students battle who would win in a fight (rest of club is the jury and votes on winner).
4) I wanted to task each student to create a poster for the school, using their character, to portray a message needed on campus (announcements, reminders, etc)
5) Class field trip to IMAX to watch the biggest movie release of the year.

Any other ideas? Suggestions and NT flaming always appreciated 8)

Draw the names and have them debate the proceeding week so they can research.

Create an account with marvel unlimited and give the class access to it.

^ :smoking ideas!!!

1) On Friday's the school chunks out time for clubs so technically it is during school hours
2) Prep week is such a great idea! Should they debate by announcing what moves their character would do step by step? Or just have a discussion? @zyzy
3) Great idea! Collabs would be cool too, that way they can get super creative with it

Well just why the character would win. Instead of just saying " he would win because he's my favorite ", try to make it logical ie previous fights between the characters. "Hero a" has beat "villian b" while "hero c" has always lost to that villian. With that one can assume hero a>hero c

Moves can be outlined as well

you'd eventually have to make different classes for the characters just to make sure someone doesn't keep throwing in god level characters. My friend likes to throw silver surfer into arguments with earthbound characters, when its a complete mismatch
