So I misplaced my drivers license and need a new one, but all of the appointments at the DMV are backed up into September. I know it would involve a ton of waiting, but is it possible to just walk in there and apply for a replacement without an appointment? I really can't wait until September 10th to replace my license.

Thanks NT.

never heard of DMV making appointments, lol. so what do u tell a cop if u get pulled over and haven't gone to the DMV becuz it's booked for the next two months

I left my license at a bar right before I moved out of state
I called the dmv office and they sent the form for a duplicate license to my parents house
My parents filled out and mailed the form
And I received my license in the mail

You should be able to just do it online. Then you'll get a print out license to use until your physical one comes in the mail. It should be $15.

No. This is what you're gunna do.
Call your local dmv offices until you are connected with a pleasant sounding nurturing older woman
Then you're gunna make up some **** about why you can't come into the office (You broke your femur, Drones, don't you remember? And you can't leave the house)
What you're not gunna say is- "I just don't feel like standing in line for 3 hours"- because that would be stupid
[because they're technically not supposed to mail the duplicate license forms]
Then that MILF is gunna mail you your **** and your set

The catch? This task will take 10 minutes of your precious time.
AND you'll have to talk to a stranger on the phone.
Jeeze Louise, good luck man- I hope u make it.
