I've yet to meet someone with my same birthday and whenever there is one of those birthday threads I never see anyone with August 20th.

I always wonder once I sell off my collection would I still come back or even 10 years from now would I still visit this site regularly as I do now.

I started out around here around 02 I think, but actually didn't start reading thread and stuff like that until 04 when the Laser 4 Jordan's released I was hawking that thread :lol:

I remember when I first started coming to General and there was a user Let Me Post and Let LMP Post that was I guess you would say frequent posters, but at that time General didn't really keep my interest and the topics never changed like how they do these days.

I remember the OG shoetrends too :pimp: that is what lead me to NT because they used to have a link at the bottom to visit our friends at NikeTalk but I didn't really understand how message boards worked then.

Happy birthday. OP, if I'm not mistaken you constantly posted pics of samples and unreleased kicks back in the day. I think you even had a website of all these crazy stuff. Your website was one of the few bookmark sites along with Greg street that I would check on the daily besides NT. One I clearly remember were those "Brownie" AJ XVI samples.


I'll add to your list for memory lane.

-Snuggiemcdougal - crazy samples on the daily.
-oldmanwearingnikes - scammed tons of NTers.
-neoprodigy - overseas collector. 1st dude I've ever seen post a pair of silver foams before anyone even knew they existed
-HataTakahashi - dude was selling varient blk/red XI for $90 and ppl going bananas over them here.

Happy birthday youngin. Im 29 so im right behind you. I was 21 when i joined, but i fell off the site for like 4 years didnt start back up until this year. The thing I will never forget is when we found out Air Randy was selling fakes. It broke my heart. He used to always give us the new colorways man keeping us in the know. Those were the days lol.
