Ex-'Young and Restless' star sues show over racial discrimination.

The actress who played Drucilla Winters says she was routinely mocked for her race and denied opportunities granted white actors in documents filed in Manhattan Federal Court. She says the producers have ‘blacklisted’ her from daytime TV due to her criticism — despite fans clamoring for her character’s return. The suit names the studios that produce the show, including CBS and Sony. The network said the suit was an attempt 'to rewrite history.'

How much did that cost?  I'd like to do one even though I don't think it'll come out as pure as yours...I'm just curious to see what the percentages are and where in Africa I descended from.

100% African!! That's dope. I plan on doing dna testing soon. I also want to trace back my lineage in this country as far back it can go, but that's hella expensive.
 
I liked that interview, but damn all that 'black & Latino' stuff from him three me off a little bit. I never knew that to be his MO.

It makes sense. He might be trying to increase his base. Even more so in Philly and the North East in general a lot of Brown and black people identify with one another. I see PR's and Cubans and DR's reppin Blood, Crip Kemet and Hebrew Israelite now. Everyone aint like "a certain ex-nt'er who never got his jesuspiece" so there is definitely an overlap. But I was definitely thrown off when he included Latinos in the discussion because I'd honestly never heard that from him previously.

Dr. Umar is a pan africanist and he speak for ppl of african descent. I thought alot of caribbeans have a significant amount of african descent considering the slave trade. My ex is dominican and she will tell you in a heartbeat she is black. Am i wrong?

You are right and wrong and not by any fault of your own. Some people are flat out crazy. As a result they will call/consider themselves anything under the sun but Black and/or African. Some Dominicans that are darker than Pharrell Williams say they aren't black others lighter than Monta Ellis will say they are. I've heard it has to do with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsley_Massacre. But I'm no expert.

As soon as the Africa rebounds watch people come out the woodwork talking about how they are 1/64 Zulu. It's only a matter of time.

I see what you are saying. America at one point was giving free land to native americans back in the days and a whole lot of white ppl. were claiming native tribes to grab that land. I'm merely speaking for caribbeans of african descent. Kinda similar to the huge African population in Brazil as a result of the slave trade.
