Anyone ever feel like using a "dumbphone" again?

I've been thinking about it recently.  I don't really spend much time on social networks outside of Twitter and NT, but sometimes I wanna use my phone for what it is, a communication device. Definitely one of the things I'd miss is the GPS however.

Thoughts?

I like my phone being smart but I definitely miss when everyone had to actually connect with you. I don't have any social network accounts except G+ which no one is using and my quality of friendships does take a hit as a result. Back in the day, it was no thing to call up people. Now I could message someone back and forth.. but if i ring em up. No reply.

It's not uncommon, a lot of execs and CEOs use flip phones so they don't get distracted with all the nonsense smartphones have. They use it for talking and that's it

They only sell flip phones as the prepaid kind or where you have to add minutes to them right?

I'm pretty sure the only people buying flip phones are hustling.

Even my 90 year old step grandpa can use his iPhone fine.

In a world obsessed with convenience
we no longer work for anything, yet we expect everything and we expect it now
Anything that's available 24/7 is ********
I would not place myself in that category, but my iphone would qualify me

I am the most present when I turn off my phone for a week
I am happier when I disconnect from cyber space
All I want is a working lx sidekick from '09 to write notes on
No data plan, and like 200 minutes just in case

TL ; DR

I feel you. I also want to simplify

I just got back to having a smartphone again after a year of having a flip phone. Prior to that I was phone-less for over a year. Then before that I had the HTC evo 4g.

I'm glad I have smartphone again. But having a flip phone you could definitely notice how people are so into their phone like I am now lol...

I'm glad the days are gone when I had to print out driving directions to get somewhere. I'll never complain about convenience or quick access to information. I mostly just use my phone to web browse or stream to my chromecast anyway.

speaking of GBA, it came out 10 years ago.  Look at how much technology advanced in 10 years.

I still use a dumbphone! Old school, I just haven't upgraded...

I'm not big on social media, don't have FB(Deactivated, life is much better), instagram.

I've been paying 30$/month, I went in to upgrade to a smartphone and they said average smartphone bill is 80$/month depends on how many gigs of data you get.

Save some money there, and I charge my phone once/week.

I have GPS in my car, but it's useful on the phone. Eventually I'll get a smartphone though

I got a smartphone and dumbphone. Got both on me at all times the ladies call me 2phone Shawty
