Simpsons Marathon right now on FXX 552 episodes update:Season 25

son how much do dudes figure the entire series will cost on dvd, just up until now? has to be 250 , at least
 
all the best episodes are coming on late at night. Im gonna miss the new york episode and Chief wiggum PI tonight


On a side note, for some reason I remember episodes like Hank Scorpio and the beer baron being earlier than 1997, like 1994. Where as the ep with sideshow bob and his brother I thought was closer to 1999. my timelines are all off

I was waiting for the NY episode too. Sucks that it is coming on at 2am in my area. :smh:
 
It's going to be interesting at what point I'll stop recognizing episodes... I couldn't tell you exactly when I stopped watching the new episodes.

I do recall not liking a lot of the episodes, but once I saw them on reruns I thought, "this episode wasn't so bad" but that was mostly because I was comparing the to the newer, crappier ones :lol:
 
This one is an interesting episode, The Principal and the Pauper... it's pretty controversial and some say marks the end of the "prime/golden" years

Idk. The rest of season 9 was classic and season 10 was pretty good. I'd say the descent started in 2000-01 ish

Which is funny because that's when family guy first came on and was hilarious
 
TYBG for this Marathon, ive watched it non stop since Thursday morning :smokin

I had to catch it mainly for Seasons 1-6 and all the uncut footage. Theres so many scenes i have never seen before and ive been watching this series since 1989. Glad they FINALLY restored the extended intro for Season 1. Im also glad alot of the scenes that got cut for syndication were shown.

I was watching the burlesque house ep yesterday and it was crazy how I knew all the words to the final song. I havent seen it in 10+ years

Also dr Zaius song :smokin
