SCAMMER: tried to help the dude and he leaves me hangin @darthpolak

Also, some of you are really confused in seeing a scam vs seeing a broke dude that's making an excuse for not buying some shoes he can't afford.

A scammer doesn't ask you to buy shoes then disappear and return with excuses. That's a broke dude right there.
A scammer would have at least sent payment in an attempt to..... SCAM.

The intent to scam was there; he was going to send him the overnight label then quickly reverse the transfer of money once it was shipped

problem is things seemed to go bad when he didn't even have the money to do that

If you say so. You are taking your idea from the label. The situation as a whole indicates otherwise. We can all assume what he might have done but no one knows other the person at fault.

So attempted scams are allowed now? Just cause he didn't follow through with it? He's got multiple people buying the kicks, and telling them the same story about overnighting/labels. Overnight? He's not in that much of a rush to get the shoes. He's obviously trynna enjoy them on someone else's dime, or he would have just bought them himself. This sounds like a scam/broke boy combo. Who can't take 2 min out of their "six flags" schedule to order some kicks on mobile?

Is you try to do some a "favor" you're not really being scammed IMO

With that said I'm glad you got yours back OP and the dude who left you high and dry needs to be kicked.

I can see how one would think buddy was trying to scam.

But you can't definitively say that he WAS scamming--only that you THINK he might have been.

So, he's not a scammer.  A possible scammer?  Sure.

Maybe he was trying to save himself some $$ on shipping by providing an overnight label?  I have a buddy who has free overnight shipping at his job and he does this all the time.  The point is that you don't really know his true intentions, so calling him a flaker is all you can really do.

Not tying to play Devil's Advocate or anything, but I think as far as forums are concerned if your cookies are kept by the machine you're considered "logged in"?

So I could be away from my phone for a month but still be considered logged in to NT? Is this not true?

Correct me if I'm wrong or if there's a specific difference between being logged in and actual forum activity (posting, etc)

That's the thing, we're all strangers. Nobody knows anybody here like that (outside of a few that actually know them outside the site).

I've seen the mods and some people in here for years and STILL don't "know" them. Y'all gotta be smarter than that

I think there's a difference between staying logged in and forum activity because I've been automatically logged in to NT for atleast 3 years then
