A Challenger has never and will never compete with a Z06. The Hellcat is nice, but come on.. :smh:

Straight fire!!!! :pimp:
And comparing this to a hell cat? hellcat is fast in a line but like most muscle cars wont go around a corners. The new corvette will keep up with the hellcat because lighter stated by someone. This will be had Eventually

 Hey, I wasn't the one comparing the Challenger to Exotics.

The Hellcat is certainly a good value at 60k, but its not turning the USDM or exotic industry upside down. The Corvette is an even better value at 80k when you consider it bests the world class Zr1 in every category. This new Z06 has a few more horsepower, a lot more torque, weighs less and comes in at a starting price over 30 grand less than the base Zr1.

I like the Challenger, but the Hellcat isn't doing anything revolutionary. It sticks to the very traditional formula of big engine, lots of horsepower, lots of weight, good in a straight (if you can get it to
You're in denial. 60K for 707hp changes everything when it comes to the auto industry domestic and exotic.

I do like the Z06 and it is a great package. I'd like to see if Chevy brings back the ZL1 and if there is a new 7.0 Liter in the works.

I'd like for Chevy to throw a supercharged LS7 into a Corvette or Camaro. Thing would DESTROY everything in sight.

Was just talking about this thing today. Such a sexy beast! [emoji]128175[/emoji]

That gun metal grey is ridiculous

the title tho

"only 78,995"

That price is an absolute steal though.

The new Z06 bests the outgoing ZR1 in every category, and while speculations were that it would be more expensive, GM instead cut down the price by over 30k. This is the best deal in the performance auto segment since the introductory price of the R35 in 2008.

WOW!!! Don't like the look of the coupes , but tht dropTOP Z06!! JET STREAM BLUE[emoji]128165[/emoji][emoji]128165[/emoji][emoji]128175[/emoji][emoji]128175[/emoji][emoji]128561[/emoji][emoji]128561[/emoji] CHEVY WILD FOR THIS ONE

i love the new vette and challenger

i want both, im proud of the Americans for this right now

This is the face of american muscle car for 2015
the corvette was never a muscle car tho, the camaro was more muscle than the vette

the vette was an answer to ferrari, porsche etc, which is why theres no backseat and its lightweight (which means no muscle)

Some would argue that it's a muscle car than a sports car

Depending on the model they'd look at

Imo

an ls7 isnt even compatible with a supercharger unless you're going to mod more.........way more

theres a reason theres a z06 and a zr1

They already sell 800+ hp S/C LS7 Crates. It can be done.

GM stated that the biggest obstacle with supercharging the LS7 in a Corvette, isn't the size of the cylinder walls like people tend to assume. The problem is being able to meet the engines more intensive cooling demands inside the Vettes relatively restrictive engine compartment. To intercool the previous gen Vette's LS9 GM used 2 smaller intercoolers instead of the single large one that was used on the CTS and ZL1. To supercharge the LS7, the car would need an even larger intercooler(s) to reduce heat. I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull it off and implement the S/C LS7 some time down the road in a ZR1, but for now the Z06 is more than sufficient.

Yeah, the Corvette is definitely classified as a sports car. 2 seats, powerful motor (not necessarily a requirement), higher pricing, greater emphasis on top speeds and handling, low ground clearance, not as practical as a daily driver, all trims of the car are performance oriented.

Challenger, Camaro, Mustang are classified as Muscle cars. 5 seats, powerful motor, low pricing, greater emphasis on bottom end straight line acceleration, higher ground clearance, easily functions as a daily driver, multiple trims available ranging from pedestrian to performance.
