So I posted these in the pick up thread and got a lot of people telling me they were fakes. I believe they are real, and here's the part where i sheepishly admit that i probably should have taken both shoes out and not taken the pictures in a dimly lit room at night. :wow:
anyways, i attached pics i just took of the problem areas people noted, one of which was the hangtag. turns out it was on the other shoe. whoops. also took a pic of the perforated edge of the price sticker on the box, and a bunch of other shots. please let me know if i need any more pics, or different angles of them, thanks.

p.s. also threw in some pics of the concord 11 lows i got in the deal as well. figure if one is fake the other one might be as well. thanks for your help guys, ill give out reps as long as i can

also, can someone please explain the sticker on the insole? i'm assuming thats not something you want to see if you hope the shoes are legit. thanks
 
The 12s are fake at the very least.

Improper color on the plastic piece, the shape is off overall, and the back tab is also incorrect
 
im leaning toward fake/"unauthorized" pairs on both of these

need more pics of the 11s. direct shots of the 2 3 at the heels.and a front shot
 
yah thats what im hearing. i only had one pic of each to go off of and i thought i could tell by the box and the materials on the shoe that they were good. this is why i generally dont f with jordans though.
 
the jumpman tab above the mudguard on the 12s should not be dark graphite. Those are definitely fake. If theyre from the same seller then theyre both fake

if a price or deal sounds to good to be true then it probably is & definitely in the sneaker market cat's are not that generous

yah the story made sense i thought, it was "supposedly" a mom who was selling off her kids jordans, im assuming because they didnt like that he had bought them, or he had moved out or something. i didnt question it like an idiot, and i got what i deserve i guess.
 
that sticker on the sole of the 12s is a china size sticker. it would be fine for a china released authentic pair but these arent authentic.

i saw a a thread recently the same sticker on a pair of authentic space jams
 
patent leather cut looks a bit too high and elongated at the toe box. it also has a widow peak on the cut of the leather. if deadstock, these arent suppose to be laced all the way to the top lace hole either. going with not legit either.

these are the "unauthorized" authentic pairs which means they arent authentic. but are the highest quality of replicas shoes. for the non trained eye, and on feet, they are hard to tell and look real.

ok i just contacted the seller. hopefully they will be reasonable about it. not a good feeling though. really thought i did good for myself. sigh

Yeah, the fakes are getting better and better. Next year with the "Remastered" quality will hopefully make it easy to tell the difference between real or fake. If i miss out on a release i really want, i will first check craigslist that way you can see them in person. I'll usully only buy things on e-bay if there limited and they don't have High Quality fakes out yet. Good luck.
 
Yah I did it through paypal at least. I learned that lesson the hard wAy too unfortunately
 
You should expose those sellers... Did you bought it from ebay?,facebook or craigslist?

Yea man that sucks.
It's a tough world when you buy after RD which I do a lot.
The production dates on the tag seem to be one of the easiest tells from what I've learned lately.

Should be a 3 month build time, the tag you photographed is like 1 month.

I grabbed a pair today off eBay but local guy and because the price was "cheap" I was extremely suspect , it's the first thing I checked was the build date.
 
i thought i could tell, but i guess not. also, i definitely dont have flight club money. im a poor college student, i cant be dropping that kind of dough

that's why you gotta cop js on RD outta ftl/ legit spot (or catch a restock) or basically don't touch them at all.

If you bought them online through paypal theres a good chance you can get your money back. Next time just make sure you do a legit check here if you're buying online
