Eminem - SHADYXV - Dropping this Black Friday.

Wow.....
I actually agree with Ballerific. I did like Recovery though.

@tay1  Dog what....... Say Goodbye Hollywood, Square Dance, Soldier, MY DADS GONE CRAZY!!?!?!?!?!? That last verse

. You gotta chill B.
Say Goodbye Hollywhat and My Dads Gone Crazy are listenable, but 6 out of 19 tracks for is considered trash.

you guys are wilin. Em is dope. I may not like every single joint he puts out like i used to...but to say he's washed, or trash...poppycock.

seriously, what people expect from him? if you like his older stuff just listen to that. he isn't making music for his older fans anymore. he has to mature one way or another. he isn't a drugged up lunatic either.

His "maturity" has nothing to do with anything.

ok then what's the problem? the formula of the Hip Pop music he's dropping? he's gonna have to cater to a different audience cause his music is changing. plus he's got fans who are willing to go out and buy his ish.

The problem is that the **** he's making simply isn't that good. I don't care about what he's talking about, just make a good song. He isn't doing that for me.

Guts Over fear isn't all that bad, it's like a revamped version of Not Afraid. at least he isn't singing most of the damn thing like he did before.

Only rappers that can still make solid albums are nas, jay(somewhat), half the wutang(Rae, ghost, rza)
Every other rap alum is kind washed up and can't really make a solid album

Jay can't make albums. His last few have been trash.

Em can't make albums anymore. Recovery and MMLP2 were bad. His yelling, voice and flow were annoying and off beat. I liked a couple songs but not enough to care about the album. Won't have any interest in this album either. The single sounds like his last two albums.

Anyone know what the Shady XV means?

Been 15 yrs since SSLP.

I'm not expecting much from Em at this point album wise. He can still spit, but his songs are meh.

Jay's albums aren't what they used to be but they aren't to the point where u don't want to hear them at all.

Guts over Fear is fire. Definitely feeling like Beautiful Pain Pt. 2.

NT's opinion on music is always so different from mine, but I guess that's what music is all about. I just can't fathom how people can claim that he was "offbeat" on songs or that he's trash lyrically. Dude is probably still one of the rawest lyricist spittin and it's not even close.

But for all you ladies who got your panties in a twist don't fret -

Details:

- a two-CD compilation featuring an album of the label’s greatest hits, including classics such as 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” and Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”

- an album of new material from Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf as well as special guest-artist collaborations.

- The new single is currently featured in the trailer for Sony Pictures’ upcoming film, the Anton Fuqua-directed “The Equalizer,” out September 26th.

yea i was gonna say, seems kind of odd em's putting an album out so soon... this makes more sense

new single is meh

im always looking forward to his material with royce. slaughterhouse has been working with some good producers apparently, so hopefully some of those cuts make the album as opposed to what we got on their last :x

seems like forever since we got a D12 collab... it would be cool if it was older unreleased material during the devils night era though.

Not sure why I was thinking SSLP came out in 98. So one disc of new Em, Yela and Slaughterhouse and then one disc of greatest hits. This will go platinum which is insane because 90% of the world owns all those songs on the greatest hits.

Guts over fear is out, gonna have to give it a few more spins but after the first listen I gotta say I'm not the biggest fan of it.

This is gonna eat up the pop charts and billboard charts. This chick sounds just like Rihanna too. If this song is the equivalent to The Monster then I'm alright with it as long as it has some great solo tracks.

Rihanna sounds like Sia. Sia wrote a gang of songs for Ri as well as many other artists. Sucks that she lent her sound out to so many folks, and now people think she's biting them. :smh:
