2014/15 Fall & Winter Jacket thread.

do some of you with a large jacket collection sell or donate after youve amassed a certain amount?

I live in NYC and that's exactly why I posted the Basile and even then I'm a little afraid I might be cold :lol:

I usually buy a Burberry bubble the past 4 winters but I had to realize spending all this money on coats every winter I could of easily copped a Moncler and made it last the same amount of time.

I might be in for one. Lotta money for a coat though. I wanted to the RL Himal Parka.. but I dont like how large and bulky they are.
 
Wasn't there a guy in another thread that said he saved up in high school for a Moncler, and then he got it and it wasn't even that warm?
He said he froze his *** off the entire winter :lol:

He probably copped a Moncler jacket not a coat because it was the cheapest one

TNF Denali + hoodie for when its in the 40's

Marmot bubble for when it's cold (no precip)

TNF triclimate for the big stuff.
 
For cooler weather:
Penfield Gibson
Penfield Lakeville
North Face Denali
Various Nike Windrunners

For colder weather:
North Face Nuptse
H&M padded jacket

I should have bought the Penfield Stapleton last winter when they were on sale. :smh: Maybe at the end of the season when they go on sale again.

Right now i just have a RL bubble jacket.

Looking for something lightweight for work and casual wear. I live in TX so it doesn't get as cold down here as other places.
