Ideas on University Red roshe customs

I have a pair of the University red roshe runs and I'm not a big fan of plain white midsoles. I need some ideas on what I should do with my shoes. I was thinking of painting the midsoles a dark gray , like the swoosh color, and adding some black or red speckles. Speckles are always nice. Feel free to put in your opinion. Much appreciated! 

Also what kind of paint would you recommend?
