Jordan Brand Stops Production on the Air Jordan 3

i've always thought 3s were a crowd favorite, many of these recent colorways had potential(eg; crimsons) but were really terribly executed & thus not selling out instantly like some of the other popular #'d Js

so i guess it should also be a time for JB to reset & rethink their colorways for the 3s, fear 3 was the last 3 I really liked

lol. I'm sure this is MAINLY just a hype move.... JB trying to stir up as much anticipation as possible. If it has the same elephant print when it comes back i'll laugh. won't be copping either way due to price

The only thing it was this year of was year of the VI

JB releases whatever, whenever. As shown by them releasing the charcoals in 2012 and them being rumored for next year
 
Just as the announcement made it's way through social media, all the III's that were "sitting" on major retailer websites, immediately sellout. I'm sure many b&m stores saw or will see an uptick on sales as well. Probably after getting complaints from these retailers about some of the recent III's taking up valuable storage space and getting other models shipped to them on a daily basis doesn't help. Then the announcement comes.
Wouldn't be surprised if something gimmicky is also announced about the XIV soon.

it amazing to see on some sites ppl panicking. lets not forget when the 3's retroed in 2003 they went away til 2006, 3 whole years. it's not the end of the world ppl
 
Was about time. Cannot see so many butchered air jordan 3 retros with low quality leather and too many colorways anymore.
Hope they return in the quality and shape similar to the 1994 retros. 2001 retros already had paint job issues.

zoom vapor aj3 is the start of a new era, because from now on JB will now only release Air Jordan 3s as hybrid tennis shoes

Seriously how long can't they put III's in the vault for? Couple years at the most. The III's I have now will still be wearable, I'm not worried about it.
 
^ yep. I have wc3 88s and all my other threes. I can wait a couple years for bc3 and tb3 NAs, which is all I really want, and fire red NAs I'll take too. :lol:

couldn't happen for long, they too money hungry. They'll take em down shortly build a little hype then throw em back on the market 
 
I'm a little bit happy about this, they've been releasing some doodoo color ways those sport blue 3's were actually not bad, too bad I really didn't keep up with the release date.
