A brother and sister who were arrested for having sex outside a church have told police they got intimate three times – after watching ‘The Notebook’.
Christopher Buckner, 20, and her brother Timothy Savoy, 25, who are blood relations, were charged with incest, aggravated sodomy and prowling, after they were found walking along a Georgia highway on Tuesday.
They later admitted they had sex in a trailer outside a nearby church.
Deputies revealed that when the pair broke down to authorities they said they had become intimate after watching The Notebook, a 2004 romantic drama starring Ryan Gosling.
Police were initially alerted to the unlikely lovebirds at 4.30am by a resident who became concerned that they were ‘prowling’ – lurking in the area and about to commit a crime.
Savoy had told officers he was walking his sister home – but eventually confessed to having sex outside the Countryside Baptist Church.
