I think I've come to the conclusion that I don't want to stop with kicks entirely, but Jordan definitely won't get my dollars...

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy sneakers still, it's just I get irritated when I want a nice simple shoe, and I can't get it because we got all of central Compton outside foot locker with their sleeping bags and week supply of food.
I went to this mall this morning (note worthy that I went to this mall for kd's, and NOBODY was there that day) for the sports blues. My thoughts, "this mall is always empty, this should be fairly easy, even without a ticket"...
Forgot I was speaking of "our Lord and almighty savior", MJ.

There were people everywhere man, it's getting outta hand.

And the sad part is, losing 1 buyer won't matter to Jordan. We got cats dying over j's, meanwhile

He's losing 1 dude, out of the millions of people who are still on him daily.
I think I'm done with jordan, which is pretty hypocritical for me to say since I still enjoy the shoe scene (well, to an extent)
Inb4 you just realized this
Inb4 you wack b
Inb4 stop shoes entirely

End rant

I still have DS sport blues from the last time. That's why I don't even buy Js anymore. Everything had been retro ...

Every jordan I ever wanted has been re released.

Like I can understand lebrons and ish bcuz they're for the most part new and innovative, jordan been milking this game

Don't get me wrong, I'll still be attracted to certain pairs because I like what I like. Period.
You won't see me waiting in lines for hours though for some shoes with no real cushioning, no real qualities to speak of that can't be found better elsewhere for the price, & no something I can't wear every day because I either can't wear them to work and/or don't want to mess them up since they're casual-only at this point.

These days shoes are an investment more than clothing, I have better ways to invest my time & money than waiting in a line to spend my money on some overall subpar product. I'll look & consider some for nostalgic purposes but good luck getting me with the price. I have pictures...

My motto is wear what you like but
...

Years ago I realized that it was getting old tryna get every pair. I'm 28, been doing it for damn near 2 decades. Plus every kid in my city is doing the same thing. Its like a dumbass cycle

My neice has to have every one that come out. She's 13 . Only thing she knows about him is that he played for the red team.

I understand the raising price thing. That's happens with every product over time. I but I hate that its a new pair almost every week these days.

That's the thing.
I'm not as old as some of these cats out in the game, so I never got to experience the originals, and the history behind them.
Now it's just like, jordan dropped a shoe, see you at the mall in 2 hours, it's no fun man.
I was gonna try to start copping all new releases for the future, so I could maybe feel that nostalgia. 1 I'm not rich, and 2 I got college to think of.

-2001 + 13

-Still buying/wearing Air-Jordans

Do people really exist who think Jordans are still cool ?

a lot of ppl do, srs question?

i dont wear jordans at all i stopped a while ago

matter fact i think im gonna get my first pair of Vans today

Bro things haven't changed. I don't understand why you thought it would be easier lol

U want them, go get them. Get a plug, do research lol

Honestly don't even care anymore.
I've had every pair I wanted except the hares. I don't know everyone's situation but if people out their effort into other avenues as much as they do to "stay fresh" these companies wouldn't flourish

Jordan's are just wack to me and the hurdles you have to go to get em these days, nahhh my man

Haven't kept a pair of J's since 2005 (bought a few retros here and there since then, but sold them a week later after I came to my senses).

Once the quality went all the way downhill and the prices started slowly rising, I was out.

Now we have subpar quality, prices nearing $200 for retros AND having to deal with this new generation of hypebeast?  Pretty sure I'll never buy another pair again.

I was kinda hype for the Columbia's too, since I never got to experience the og's.
Bump that

As much as we all hate Jordan's now, everybody has that one pair thats the exception to their "I'm retired" rule

...thus the cycle continues

you gonna stop buying Nike's too or nah? same company so it would be pointless not to boycott the other sigs/shoes under da umbrella.

I don't get them because they're over priced and made with trash materials. Would you buy a $100 shirt made of Walmart bags? The hell are y'all buying shoes made of paper thin pleather?

I still like Jordan's but me dropping 180 on a cheap pair of shoes isn't going to happen. Has nothing to do with "still being cool", I couldn't care less about all that.

I've been with Jordan for a few months now, sold my collection (hate that word for shoes) off besides a few pairs. Last pair I got was the Grapes.

As you get older shoe's become less important, for me high school was a big reason to keep getting shoes, probably trying to impress people. Too much money being spent on some kicks that who knows will break left or right because the quality is fugazzi.

I'm not retired, will scoop up the Infared 6s and the Colombia 11s and probably call it a career. If the lighting 4s ever one out again then I'll cop those with the quickness. Now i just rock Roshe runs, wearing jordans makes your feet hurt and are like damn boots.
