What's up folks. I'm typing this frustrated right now because its 3:30 am right now & I have been tryna get to sleep for the last hour.

I have had this problem for years. I honestly can't remember the last time and i have went to bed before midnight( even after longs days working, sex, etc)

I have been weighing the pros & cons of prescription meds like ambien & lunesta. Most say that the dreams,etc aren't worth it.

I even used MY pain meds the last few nights (but I don't want to get addicted so I don't use the every night)



I'm thinking about trying melatonin

Anybody here that has used any of the above , could you chime in with any info?

I have the same issue. I was hoping exercise was going to help to no avail. I use otc sleeping pills.
 
Nothing works for me. Bought some pills last week and I was up until 7 AM. My case of insomnia is due to stress. Been like this all Summer.
 
I downloaded & tried this sleep/hypnosis app a month ago. It kinda put me to sleep, but gave me the craziest dreams I have ever had. I was like nah I'm good on that.

But even after good days, as soon as I lay in that bed, that's when the thoughts just seen to overload my brain. Its like I can't shut it down to sleep.

Tried that, hell I even tried the nyquil sleep aid :lol:

The "other" cough syrup will put me to sleep, but I will wake at 2-3 & can't go back to sleep
I'm an insomniac, the only thing that helps me sleep is the "other" kind. Doctor prescribed of course. It's the only time I EVER get a good nights sleep.

I was born at 7pm.... Sometimes I blame it on that.... I'm just on a whole nother 24 hour cycle :lol:

Tried sleep meds before but that doesn't work at all
 
I was sleeping in my bed with my pup when I woke up and she was acting really weird. Panting had and just watching certain areas of the room....staring.

I've heard dogs can see ghosts so I got a little creeeped out and can't go back to sleep....and I went to bed around 2:15 :rolleyes
 
I can relate to this all too well :smh:

Lately I've fallen into a habit of just passing out from 11ish to around 3:30 though.

Besides not being a fan of having to start my day that early, it'll do for now. Sure as hell beats the sleepless nights I'm used to.

Went to bed at 4am and woke up at 6am. How do you people even get to sleep long?
 
I've used most of the sleep helpers you mentioned, I used to have a problem getting into that mode to doze. I like never hit that comfortable *** "oh I could just fall asleep" no matter how exhausted. I ended up getting a new mattress. Something about resting my body on a whole different surface I dunno kid.
 
OP follow my steps very closely for the best sleep you'll ever have. CAUTION: this is dangerous and make sure you don't have anything to be up in the morning for because you're liable to oversleep or wake up tired.

Step 1: find some marijuana. Light it. Inhale until you are high.

Step 2 : If you are able to drive assuming the marijuana wasn't to strong for you, drive to McDonalds. Order a #1.

Step 3 : After you are done consuming your meal, go into your bedroom and fap. Once you clean yourself off, set a timer on your phone or any device you own with a timer. Watch the device and by the time it gets to 1 minute, you'll be asleep.
