The Sleep help thread Vol: I just want some Shuteye!

Any of y'all find it impossible to sleep on ur back I don't think I have ever fallen asleep while laying on my back

what I do sometimes is first sit at the edge of my bed to calm down. Just sit there and try to clear my mind. I usually go thru my day in my mind, think about what I need or want.
Other things I do is read a good book.

Hopes that helps bud.

This is my life.. Earliest I get to sleep is like 2 or 3..

Middle of the day I can pass out like nothing., I regularly close my office door and kick back.. Can't get up for crap in the morning.. But at night I can't sleep for nothing

Every other month I pull an "all-nighter" trying to reset my clock somehow to get on a normal schedule.. If I don't pass out as soon as I get home from work, as soon as 9 or so hits, I'm up

I've tried melatonin.. Doesn't do much.. Literally had to take double doses of NyQuil to feel anything

Was prescribed ambien before, but would wake up after a couple hours.. And it gave me weird dreams

Y'all stressin it too much, lay back and just be glad y'all ain't got **** to do. Eventually enough kicking back will get you tired, thinking about it makes it worse

Like I always have to say, learn to meditate. You can find use for it in literally all aspects of your life. I do a half-assed mediation to put myself to sleep every night. I drop like a fly.

Drink more water. Seriously.

Install f.lux  and turn your screen brightness down to the lowest setting an hour before you plan to sleep, on top of shutting off all the lights.

Easier alternative, you could listen to a 1Hz Delta wave in a continuous loop. You have to consciously let your brain waves align to it, if you constantly think it wont work, you'll just negate it. Let it do its thing, youll wake up in 6-8 hours wondering what happened.

You can just find a long youtube video, or download the app Binaural from the appstore. I use it for everything, it's amazing.

Or just smoke some herb. I usually do this anyways just because.

Good luck.

Same here. Usually I nod out better on my side close to the edge. Sometimes folding my arms

If im not on my side im on my back. I've never known how dudes can sleep with their face in the pillow and not suffocate themselves to death.

Don't think I've ever fallen asleep not on my side or back in my entire life.

About that time though, y'all try to get some sleep.

It might be a placebo effect but Sleepy Time tea gets me every time  That and those Ichill shots are :smokin

Lol @ suffocating. I can't fall asleep on my back either. Don't even think I've ever tried.

Been meaning to try sleepy time tea. I think my body is kinda over melatonin unless I take a bunch.

Waking up and trying to feel fine even after a solid nights sleep is forever my problem :smh: .
