2015 NY Knicks offseason thread, Los Almighty appreciation thread

STAT was the right choice. You guys just got hit by really bad luck with him.

You can even look at this year, they became the same player. Guys off the bench, and Amar'e still played better.

Injuries just robbed him.

Everyone wants to blame Amar'e, but he was BALLING the first year he was on the team. Had he never blown his back out against the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs, Amar'e tenure in NY would've been very different.

Now, it's a different story with what if's because according to Phoenix's medical staff, he was on borrowed time and was a ticking time bomb. If he never got hurt that time, he would've gotten hurt later on. That's why he could never get "right" with his knee. When he was rehabbing from one injury, he'd (re)injure something else setting him back even more.

It is what it was with Amar'e at this point. No point in talking about it now. All we can do is cut our losses and continue to move forward.

I'm one who was sad to see Lee leave but def wasn't sad that Stat came to the Knicks. His work in the beginning of the year made me forget about Lee real quick and was a big part of why we made the playoffs. First knick starting all star since Pat, think about that. (Coincidentally D Lee was the 1st Knick AS since Spree and Houston but didn't start)

If Jose Calderon is the Knicks starting PG for next season's opener (unless it is because Fisher doesnt want to hand the starting job over to Russell/Mudiay right out the gate), point me to the nearest exit.

His moribund play, his age, the emphasis on the PG position in the modern game, and his contract make him a near must-dump player.

hmmm philly might draft a big, bc apparently embiid suffered a set back with his foot injury. they might go the safe rout and draft okafor and trade one of their bigs down the line if embiid ever actually pans out.

Ur 3 days late with the news...

Doesn't matter at this point. Those two guys are going to look great when things are working for Cleveland, and will look HORRIBLE when things don't work out.

Phil unloaded those two guys to get them out of our hair. I'd also like to be Calderon moved just as much as the rest of you, but at what cost? We'd have to take something back to get rid of him.

That Melo resigning will make Steve Kerr's job all the more easier.Edit: Derek Fisher? How did this happen?

Who's this dude Quincy Acy everyone raves about?

STAT has been pretty injury free, still should see a slight minutes restrictions.

**** it I'll take it. I just wanna see my lil ninja back in MSG, even if its on the end of the bench waving towels and getting the crowd hype
