2015 NY Knicks offseason thread, Los Almighty appreciation thread

I got faith in Phil and all I ask is that this franchise heads in the right direction tonight. Cause we all know no matter who gets picked by the Knicks tonight we will hear some boos and cheers
 
Okafor had some pretty bad workouts though. Man, this is becoming one of the WORST years for the Knicks.

We end up with the worst record in our franchises history, lose 2 spots in the draft, potentially lose out on both perennial PG's and may very well end up drafting an overrated big who is possibly 3-4 years away from being anything in the NBA.

To top it off, we may lose out on the Tier 1 Free Agents and end up with mediocre free agents like Monroe.

While the Lakers who had a similar season ends up with the opposite results.

idk about mediocre. monroe is a career 16 and 10 guy. ill be more than happy to have a post scorer. havent had once since....ewing?
 
Monroe has skills without doubt. He's already a proven player.

He's younger and cheaper than LMA.

true. thats why i dont like zinger. other than dirk, who was the last european player to make an all star team? exactly. based on the odds and league history, euro players dont do that well in the nba. id rather not take a chance on one, when we NEED impact players now. hopefully were not in the lottery again next year, so we NEED this.

We won't be in the lottery next year, because we don't have that pick :lol:

Chances are we draft someone who won't pan out and end up with garbage free agents. How the Hell does LA have enough for boogie offering the #2, Randal and filler? I don't understand this ****.

And they have the potential to get LMA as well? This is bogus man.

Now I'm hearing Mudiay will get traded if Knicks draft him, so that they could get Kaminsky. Hoping this isn't true.


& if you wanna talk international players, Hezonja got the goods

For the record, JRS was WRONG about LMA staying in Portland.

Paul Allen's pocket and those ugly hats he wears in games wasn't enough for LMA to stay.

We need to go all out for LMA.

This is the Euro yall like? The Croatian JR Smith? The one who goes out and ******* chucks all game? Not the 2-way, athletic, versatile 7'2 Latvian with a 7'6 wingspan who produces at a higher rate and is younger? Again, UNBELIEVABLE sometimes

Been saying for the last few months that LMA was gone for sure. Portland is beautiful but that's not the place for a young millionaire and they're not a winning franchise.

Zinger's talents is real. The best part about him is that he's been trying to fit into the American culture. He learned English when he was 14. He studies videos of Kevin Garnett and Anthony Davis over Duncan, Pau and Dirk. Davis and KG are nearly all-around players. It seems Zinger wants to be an all-round player. That's a perfect player for triangle system.

Unlike Darko, Darko Milicic's work ethic was pretty bad. He didn't fit into our culture. I hardly remember that he hung out with Pistons players. I remember Rasheed Wallace tried to get Darko involved with team. Darko isolated himself too much.

He's better than Shawn Bradley w/ a jumpshot. He's a head case, but he's no JR Smith. If anything, YOU have the Knicks fan sydrome. You compare every player you don't like to former Knicks. Okafor is Eddy Curry. Hezonja is JR Smith. Quick, who's the Mike James of this draft? :lol:

We all know that talent by itself does not equal NBA success. Not knocking the guy, his skill set is impressive. But not at #4. Don't let the media con you.

I hope we get at least 1 of the big name free agents. Love, Cousins, Aldridge, Ellis, M.Gasol, J. Butler just name a few.
