Normally I don't mind what SAS says bit trading stat or London his extra year? That's like saying next year at seasons start lets wait for next yr no way..I want that cap to sign another big FA

I dont think so, we would have to get rid of JR smith and Calderon by next summer....and somehow convince one of the two potential centers to not take max but something close to max dollars
- Dragic has a player option for next year, but PHX signed his brother which may help keep him in PHX
- Millsap in unrestricted next summer, will make $9.5M this yr

Considering JR likely accepts his Player Option. He won't get $6mil over 2 years, and he's a really tough guy to trade even as an expiring.
Assume you keep Shump.
You have enough for Marc Gasol max, and $2mil player.
If you get rid of everyone except Melo, Larkin, THJr, Calderon & Early... You can sign Gasol & Dragic. Have a mil or two left over.

Millsap took somewhat of a 2-year discount with Atlanta. He's on a bargain contract with the Hawks relative to other premium bigs in the NBA. Millsap is 29-years-old and should be seeking as close to the max as possible, potentially his last major contract.

if we are to give anyone the max, it should be monroe. his max would also be cheaper than gasol's, which gives us more space to sign dragic and/or others.
