2015 NY Knicks offseason thread, Los Almighty appreciation thread

No. He wanted that financial security.

I really do hope he believed he can win here
I mean with Phil Jackson at the helm I would feel better about my chances. Early on it does seem like Phil knows what he's doing, he has people he can trust and understand his vision at his side and whatever areas he might not understand (financial and the like) others can handle. We just have a very small window to get it right.

Gotta wait and see mainly. I always considered this a throwaway season so the first quarter was a pleasant surprise :smh:

There was positives last night. Nothing last night wasnt anything we werent expecting. Who would score with Melo off the floor? What's up with the defense?

Shumpert is stil Slumpert. There was a sequence in the game where Heinrich was guarding him, and got by him twice and pulled it back? You lost him, while are you pulling the ball back?

The offense will look better with Calderon back. Stat should be on the 2nd unit for scoring.

Save us Moochie Norris!

In all honesty, he shouldn't even be here in the first place

We'll probably win 37 games this year.

Also, Early looked lost out there.
The second unit pretty much DON'T run the triangle.
The starters actually play pretty well with Caldo

We all knew this was gonna be a throwaway season, chill with the gloom. Just enjoy that basketball is back and watch the progression.

exactly. its the first game and people are already losing their minds. the players themselves said itll take months to get the system down. this isnt like 2k where you just pick a play and ********.

yeah jeez all the negativity in here after one game is a downer, man

just be happy basketball is back and enjoy the ride

I didn't recognize Melo out there...looked like he didn't know what to do

he was definitely trying to get his teammates involved and move the ball around. he was trying a little too much. we needed him to get in a rhythm, but instead kept trying to defer to his teammates. when we're down, we pay melo to make those plays and get buckets. i mean i understand him trying to be unselfish, but when we're losing, all that **** goes out the window.
