I'm not disagreeing with the point but this isnt a good example. Stan Smith's and Air Jordans arent categorized as "street wear". Stan Smiths are tennis shoes and Jordans are basketball shoes. Yes people are wearing them coupled with street wear but that still doesnt take them out of their respective categories.

In this day an ERA classic Jordans & stan smiths are a STAPLE of streetwear worldwide. Yes technically they are basketball/tennis shoes but the majority are using these for fashion alone.
