^it's true though unless you want to do tourist crap, when friends visit ny and ask me what to do i tell them to go to queens or brookyn. times square is like the most awful place on earth now, it's epcot for european people with fanny packs and red shoes

Does Queens still look like it was in "Coming to America"?
 
^lol. no, but a lot of good restaurants and ethnic food and where most actual new yorkers live since they've been priced out of other areas.

i can't say much because we live on long island where nothing happens

True, want to visit New York one day to see the Statue of Liberty, Time Square, and the Pokemon Center; but I've heard stories they steal your shoes and valuables, is all that stuff true?

No surprise now that prices of Bed Stuy apartments are damn near Williamsburg prices. Soon enough the entire borough will be called Williamsburg.

Been looking for apts since I plan to move there in the next three years since it would be good for my career and I love the city. White people are even taking over Spanish Harlem/East Harlem/El Barrio.

Queens have good housing prices but I need to be around trains.

I didnt know there was a pokemon center. Next time I guess. Im overdue for a trip anyway.
 
i'm going to guess he is more beetlejuice than floyd may weather.

and yeah, prices in brooklyn are crazy. my mom moved into bush wick 3 years ago and i was a little concerned for her and now it looks like an episode of Girls over there. 

brooklyn is done, queens will be dead, soon people will move to staten island by choice

^i just threw that in there to fan flames, staten island is actually a smart choice these days. 

we live on the north shore of long island but i have my son playing ball for school and aau in the city because i am afraid he will be pillow soft otherwise

My girl from the Bronx hates that place so much and she would never tell me why. Never. The only thing I ever got is "How can you call yourself NY when you need a ferry to go anywhere?" The two things she hates about NYC is Staten Island and J. Lo acting like she from the block when she can't come back to the Bronx
