STOP the autoplay ad vids on this forum

I don't know what is going on with the ads but every page I click on here has now become a commercial, sometimes no video is shown and you just hear audio. I understand ads are a part of the site but the autoplay with volume makes browsing this site at work unbearable. Mods, get this fixed
 
I don't even check NT on my phone anymore bc it just keeps opening the app store for me :smh:
 
This. I had my laptop on and walked into the kitchen and thought I was bugging out when I heard the page talking. I couldn't figure out how to cut it off. 
 
It'll fixed by the end of the day like it always is when this stuff happens, I wouldnt sweat it.
 
i just had the football one all loud in my office with no way to turn it down so i had to close the window

The audio is annoying, sometimes I just have NT in the background and the music just starts blaring out.

This too, it is very annoying when browsing via iphone or ipad and then all of a sudden the app store opens.
 
Not sure if the autoplay happens on mobile, think that's an entirely different issue. Still, these things need to be fixed
 
please so these damn ad's can stop

i talked to method man about this a few weeks ago

i though it was taken care of

also when i go on my phone i get a pop up talking me to the google play store for some app
