So, the police are close enough to run on to the scene as they're walking down the hall in about 30 sec. yet they weren't nearby while they're walking around looking for these guys to alert them of the previously alleged assault?

In that situation I'd be for the cops shooting all them dudes and sadly it's stuff like this seen by some ignorant ppl in positions of power that lead to the shootings and killings of innocent young men.
That ***** in the blue denim and white shirt are really ******* lame for swinging on the girl like that.
With that said, I can see how this sort of racism expressed by the female could've led them to do that.
I mean that last dude in black and red seemed to be lagging behind, possibly a lookout for the police to tell them to run.
