Pondering TLW from Xur, but I have the Thorn bounty that I'm gonna knock out this weekend, so I'll probably just save my SC's.

Comparing TLW to the Thorn, Hawkmoon, Fatebringer, and the old Vanguard The Devil You Know, TLW is actually my least favorite. Now I don't do Crucible with Hand Cannons so maybe that's why I don't like it, but it just doesn't do it for me. Range is low and that fact that it hits harder from the hip than when ADS it makes it that much worst. Others will differ from my opinion.

Well there we have it. I was leaning no and that decides it. Plus I love how Thorn looks. Like a handgun from hades possessed by the spirit of a sinister crow.

I'd buy it and try it out. It's not like strange coins are scarce on a weekly basis anyway. It's a cool weapon. Def more pvp than one but very fun nonetheless. Perfect stability while hip firing. Rounds fly out and destroy other guardians. It's a very fast ttk weapon and has the dopest hand cannon animation in the game.

Speaking of Thorn: as a Titan, to knock out that crucible part of the bounty, is the best plan to use my Epilogue and do Rumble? I've seen Rumble and Control mentioned. Have both striker/defender abilities maxed.

Get a heavy void machine gun and pick ppl off.
I needed like 140+ points last night.
Did Control at Blind Watch, ran someones heavy off them and patrolled zone A from the upper level. Nobody could touch me.
And the heavy would respawn right by me. I had it out for maybe 68% of the match. Got all my points that way
Epilogue really is too messy to use for that bounty. I only whipped it out if i had to reload my fusion void plug 1

I can't even be mad at Xur.
The last 3 exotics I need (IceBreaker, Hawkmoon, GGHorn) will never be sold again. Just happy I can buy a bunch of Heavy Ammo packs.
If you like Crucible.. TLW (The Last Word) is the best Hand Cannon you can use. That fire rate melts people

Yeah, the crucible part for TLW has me thinking I may just get it, because as
zero23
mentioned, it's pretty easy to pick up SC's. Seems like it'd be a good go-to in racking up slaughters for Crucible-related exploits.

I actually did watch a couple vids on it this AM haha. I think that it would be a great addition for crucible, especially for me since the first half-ways decent weapon (and first Legendary) I got was 77 Wizard so I'm used to hitting foes in close range so the hip fire advantages will be comfortable quarters.

If you like that then yea go for it. It depends on the person. In situations like that I prefer to use a shotgun personally. Then again I'm not the greatest PvPer, my K/D ratio is at about 1.0.

still like the hawkmoon over the last word in crucible. 2 shots guaranteed dead > spray and pray for 4. especially when u factor in the hawkmoon will kill u from across the map. and the last word is only good for MAYBE across the room....

Different strokes for different folks. I'm the same way as you but I see the other side of the argument. I've seen Bos run and gun with his Last Word and go on a rampage over and over. But in this game, why not collect every exotic you can get?
