Tough choice black hammer allows you to rock VOC,black hammer and Ghallajhorn which is arguably the best set up.

Black Hammer is more for bosses and mini bosses. Icebreaker for everything else.

Icebreaker is clutch in VOG for guarding left conflux and shooting templar oracles, Boomers on crota

I usually take both anyway
 
To be honest, if none of ya'll are on or my dudes, I just go on the Destiny app on my phone, hit up Recruitment and find the PS4 Hard VoG or Crota threads, and say what I'm lookin for and I get like 3-4 friend requests in 5 minutes. Has worked every time pretty much.

I'm on right now got a couple hours to spare and then I'll be back on around 530 pst

So who's on and ready to run these nightfalls and weeklies? :pimp:

edit: ^^^^ that's how I feel every time I use BH on Atheon. Most shots I got on him was 12 before I had to jump out. With WOL it does 20k + damage

Yup.

I dont know about ya'll but to me the BH feels mad clunky and slow.... Adding the snapshot perk makes it alot easier to handle and get crits. Only drawback is the recoil is ridiculous.

I actually grabbed the Insurmountable Skullfort helmet along with The Last Word from Xur. Equipping that and the Raid chest piece I got this week should get me to 31 easy once fully upgraded I think. My helmet was trash, (that Raku one that only goes 27 light.) Health increase upon melee kill is nice.

Armamentarium that I had been rocking does same defense/light that the Crota chest does so I'll be going up by 9 light-wise with the helmet maxed.

Finished unlocking the raid helmet, so I spent the shards and got to level 32 now

I still need the raid chest piece for the Warlock.

I also need to collect more shards so I can finish making my Titan level 32 now as well. I am about 445 rep from rank 4 with Eris, so I should have this weekend as well

We helped Quad with his Deathsinger checkpoint and he got the Warlock helmet, Plan C, and shards. He has a full raid set now. Might be the first Warlock full set on NT. Not 100% sure on that though. 

@Quad  , tell JR that we went back and look at the Crota and he did get shards. He tried to say he only got 2 drops, but everyone in the group told him we saw 3.

No land beyond from completing a roc strike
SGA from exotic bounty
Vex from VoG
Got exotic armor from nightfall that got sharded with the quickness

Nothing great besides Vex, but not bad overall for the week. Only need to beat Crota which will hopefully land me BH or ghorn *fingers crossed* :lol:

VoG dropped Vex, SUROS, the vision of confluence, the sparrow, and the glass ship. :smokin Bounty glitch here i come.

FML... Ran crota raid, basically everyone only done it once or none at all. I figured it only take 1.5 hrs...

Got stuck on the bridge... Had to cheese... The wizard part was easy and we attempted to do crota legit and it didn't work.. Then tried to cheese.. Didn't work... He got enraged and ogres kept popping up with no swordbearers... Then tried to do it legit again and then cheesed him... Overall took 4.5 hrs..

FML.. I my second swordbreaker and more shards...

To top it off.. My buddy who's never gotten the first chest until today gets the ballahorn! Fml I'm gonna go play pokemon lolol
